  1. 2 years ago today we beat Newcastle to go top of the premier league. Today we are trying to get out of the bottom 3

    Halloween

Good point but then if we celebrate foiling acts of terrorism then we are are also to celebrate foiling acts of terrorism done inshallah and that would be racist.

    Halloween

Same round ours. Thankfully I was at my boys football training Monday night so missed most of it, loads of kids on our road but missus Turkish said we’d not been bothered really.

    Halloween

I’m sure 20 years or so ago bonfire night was a much bigger thing than halloween here. Penny for the guy, loads of fireworks displays and always learnt about it at school. Hardly seen any of that. I guess celebrating acts of terrorism just isn’t woke enough for the modern day little snowflakes.
  5. When we signed Edozie it was reported that he was better than Sancho was at the same age. Leeds fans seem to really rate Adams, in fact only last night I was talking to one whilst waiting for a takeaway and he said that I’d they’d signed him when they tried they’d be much further up the table. you’re right if/when we go down most of our first eleven will get other clubs, Plus Edozie. We’ll be stuck with McCarthy, Elyanoussi, Djenepo, Walcott, Lyanco and Armstrong im amazed Brighton at 6th without a prolific striker it seems impossible to win games without.
  6. no one said I wish we were like leeds why would you not want to be like Brighton? Bournemouth that are currently 2 places above us you mean? wolves just appointed a new manager so let’s reserve judgement
  7. It’s impossible for us to compete with them.
  8. Coming from two goals down and winning, showing so fight, scoring goals. All things we don’t seem to be capable of
  9. 2-3 Brighton. I’m so grateful we are in the same league as them
  10. Bloody hell Leeds winning now! Back to back wins for them
  11. It is now
  12. in fairness it’s still Bielsas squad
  13. Bournemouth 3-1 up at Leeds expect Marsch to be sacked if it stays like this. Poor result for them
  14. Another vote for Italia 90. Magical world cup. The fact it was in Italy with games played in Iconic cities and stadiums, a decent England team, Serie A was the top league in the world at the time, the fact that English clubs were banned in Europe at the time so rarely saw foreign players with not much football on TV in those days. The world cup was really something to look forward to. The earliest one i can remember was Mexico 86 but being only 9 kick off times late meant that being 13 with the world cup in Europe and being football mad meant i think i must have barely missed a game that was on TV and as others have said recreating those moments the next day.
  15. MLG will be there going round to the Qataries telling them that Allah is a false deity that there is no evidence exists.
  16. The former wolves manager or the one that’s used to be the Portugal keeper and is now a goalkeeping coach somewhere?
  17. Was it waistcoat FC on Twitter? Seems ITK
  18. Wouldn’t be surprised, he’s looked tired and fed up for a while.
  19. Quite possibly. We have to be realistic, we ain’t making the champions league but if the attitude from the top is just be grateful you’re here then it shouldnt be surprised that that sort of thinking filters down, even to the players who might be thinking staying up is job done.
  20. When you’ve got the CEO telling everyone we are just lucky to be in the premier league and our reason to exist is develop and sell players to big clubs then it’s no wonder that sort if attitude runs through the club
  21. Nonsense, the whole area is below the London-Birmingham-Liverpool line therefore all ours
  22. I’ll be switching Turkey for cauliflower hash, that’ll save the planet
  23. Yes Pompey were away at palace we were away to spurs. *Allegedly* the mighty 657 got chased all over Covent Garden, funny how they forgot that one in their book. Mad how they let teams have plastic pitches, gave them such an advantage. Sure we did get a 4-3 win at Luton on it but like you say we usually got humped
  24. A lot of people today would be disappointed we didn’t hit our XG that night
  25. The FA cup 3rd round used to be one of the biggest crowds of the season. I remember us taking 9,000 to spurs, having a big crowd at home to Ipswich who were what is now the championship, we won 3-2 but they had a big follow, midweek games cup games were always brilliant, packed grounds great atmosphere, big loud away followings. that Oldham game was ridiculous, 2-1 up in the 5th minute of injury time and they score. I think that Luton game was either before or after us being knocked out of the FA cup by the same score to Derby also in a reply I think. Midweek game, the dell was packed it was a brilliant atmosphere again. we’d got there about 45 minutes before kick off and they’d shut the Milton as it was full and sent everyone to the archers road end. They reported the crowd as something like 16,000 it was thousands more than that.
