It amazing isn't, for years we as away fans were treated like shit by stewards, fans ejected for not doing very much, stories made up against them by home police and stewards, treated generally really poorly with over the top stewarding. Yet come to St Marys do what you like as an away fan, in fact you'll even be welcomed into the home end, but if your a saints fan woe betide anyone who puts a foot wrong.

It's clear there is something more at play than incompetence. There are leaks to the media here either from someone inside the club who wants Ralph out or SR themselves. The whole Athletic article yesterday smacked of that, from the timing of it, the stuff said about when it would be done. That isn't some bumbling idiot spouting off to the media, there is an agenda at play to make it untenable for Ralph, to me that's really shabby way to treat any employee or colleague. Lets hope any new manager doesnt think we are a bunch of backstabbing scumbags.

I wonder how much they are involved day to day. I doubt there will be any away fans in the home end, the stewards have had special training this week on dealing with this. It’s clearly something that needs special training as it’s obviously too difficult to spot fans wearing oppositions shirts and scarves or cheering the other teams goal without it.
