  1. Takowski and Cody that's a really strong pair at the back, how we could do with just one of those.
  2. It’s not 10 bad games though is it. We’ve been hammered in 6 out of the last 14 by 3 or more goals, we’ve conceded two or more in all but two of those games. It’s not just a run where we’ve been a bit unlucky we’ve been abysmal. We were crap at the end of the season before last as well. The truth is he’s had two very good spells in 4 years and the rest of the time we’ve been average or utter crap. Most concerning of all is the same issues over and over again. Weird line ups, weird tactics, so easy to play against, weak mentality, crap defending, throwing away points from winning positions. We’ve needed a leader at the back for years and he’s not addressed it. Same things over and over again. I’ve been a supporter of Ralph but I think his time is coming to an end
  3. Don’t worry all there is a fans forum in two days where we can expect all the secrets to be revealed
  4. i can believe the 6 games thing but i cant believe that his number 2 is waiting in the background to jump into his grave. Surely if that's the agreement then its just delaying the inevitable.
  5. and we paid a similar fee for Armstrong off the back of a 28 goal season and he's done worse, like I said no guarentees. Adams scored 9 the season before last and 7 last season, 6-10 goals is about what you'd expect for a £15m striker, there will be some who do better and plenty that do worse. If you seriously think we're going to spend £15m and find the next Alan Shearer then i'm afraid your highly likely to be disappointed.
  6. maybe he has but there are no guarentees. As for Everton being linked, you do know they finished below us last season.
  7. Or maybe we'd get someone who scores less? Like Patson Daka, Eduard, Ineancho, Werner or even Armando Broja........
  8. Any back 5 with a crap right footed winger at left wing back and Valery at centre back is a recipe for disaster.
  9. a right footed winger at left back, a crap right back at centre back, a non scoring striker as out only forward when that doesn't work play two midfielders up front, they wont score either.
  10. Eon - got to be the worst customer service i've ever come across. Moved into a new build 4 months ago, they are the supplier to the estate we have moved too been trying to get a bill out of them or make contact with the right department for months and keep being passed around to various people and departments none of which is the right one. Useless.
  11. Amongst those players were Djenepo and Bednarek both of which started on saturday. A Armstrong also linked with a move away and he started as well. Walcott has a mysterious injury which our players seem to get from time to time. Strange situation.

    Che Adams

this is my prediction too, one decent one (the Stutgart guy or Dembele), one YHGTI player like Delap on loan.
  13. Im not in any way suggesting Dyche is the man for the job but Dyche has finished 7th and 10th in the premier league with a very small budget taking Burnley into Europe, he's achieved more in the premier league than Ralph has. It's easy to dismiss managers because of one bad season, like how its now fashionable to ignore everything Eddie Howe achieved at Bouremouth and repeat verbateum "he got them relegated" and how he's only doing well at Newcastle because he's got money, when at Bournemouth his critics said he was crap at spending money. All managers have a shelf life at a club, Dyche and Howe came to the end of thiers Ralph is approaching the end of his.
  14. has to be something like that surely, although United have just had a bid turned down for Arnatovic so maybe they've moved onto other targets. A club like Man United bidding for a 33 year old has been is frigging hilarious mind
  15. surely not even the most incompetent of owners would let our two best strikers go without bringing in anyone to replace them. Trying to be optimistic here as i rate Adams but the only reason we are prepared to sell him is to fund a move for a quality striker, not some kid who might come good one day but someone who can come in straight away and make an impact with 2 or 3 years of scoring regularly in a decent league. That can be the only reason. We were already one striker light, now we'll need two, so this has to be why.

    resale value
  17. You dont thinK Ralph is capable of beating that?

    Che Adams

well after an optimistic start to the window it seems it's going to end up like it always does, with glaring holes in the squad and it arguably weaker than the season before.
  19. Do the mods still get together for curry nights? Bet the Bantz is off the scale.

Smallbone MOM for stoke yesterday, reports say he was excellent
  21. From Mbappe, Neymar and Messi to Adam Armstrong, Tella and Redmond bet he'd bite our hand off.
  22. They need to back him and give him a better squad. Their recruitment has been dreadful over the last 5 years or so, no strategy or direction, just signing players. They've spent 100s of millions on absolute crap or egos like Pogba. They need a complete rebuild from the bottom up bidding for Arnatovic is a joke. Ten Haag is a good manager but i fear he might go the way of all the others.
  23. he cant have long left. it's not like they've all been narrow defeats either, a 6-0, a 4-0, a 3-0, 3 x 4-1s, so 6 hammerings in 14 games and we've conceded two or more in every game except for Arsenal and Leeds games. That's inexcusable form for a premier league club.
  24. i think that tells the story of what most think of Stephens and Bednarek.
