  1. Unless they show us murals of Spanish players they’ve drawn back home I remain sceptical of their authenticity
  2. That’s according to the guy who said Nathan Jones wasn’t going to be our new manager, the day before he was appointed
  3. Hope he’s sleeping with his shoes on.
  4. Breaking news none football Showing pub not showing football (unless it means losing customers who will watch it elsewhere) https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/23132435.southamptons-london-hotel-will-not-show-world-cup-unless-asked/?ref=fbshr&fbclid=IwAR2R9fqajj0qNfTfbG42pH-nRyiDB_hBgMKp63CMJ3qaYBeh377EabkYn3U
  5. Mess with these boys and the very least the Ruskies could expect is a self stick wrapped round their cannisters.
  6. Agreed, looks like a staged photo to me. If it isn't a few of their mums are going to be setting up "bring my boy home" GoFundMe pages.
  7. I fully expect he'll use the two weeks to get a lowdown from Selles and the others of the good, the bad and the ugly of the squad and build his own plans for when they return. He was far from the first name on everyones lips but from what i've seen so far i really like him, lets hope he can walk the walk, he has certainly talked the talk so far.

    Elon Musk

Twitter closes offices over 'sabotage fears' as 'more employees resign' (msn.com) Seems like a great boss 😕
  9. a two week break will probably do them good. They'll be fit it's a simply question of maintaining that fitness during the break which is easy to do given they all have individual programs, Jones has given himself a bit of breathing space to assess the squad and work on this in this period so they are refreshed when they return, it's a good move and sensible thing to do.
  10. Which one wasn’t allowed to go without taking his missus?
  11. Who’d have thought it….
  12. Surely the real benchmark is Has soggy convinced anyone to vote labour?
  13. Sadly our new neighbours are on variable, they’re already talking about having to sell up 😔
  14. Our previous mortgage fixed rate was due to end in February but we moved in April, fixed for five years just before rates started to go up. Very lucky really. Certainly wouldn’t have moved if rates then were like they are now. Going to be a disaster for those with mortgages ending already mortgaged to their eyeballs. I always ignored what a lot of people said to buy the most expensive house you can afford, financial suicide.
  15. 9% drop in house prices predicted, that’ll make some people happy
  16. That second goal was very good as well. What a player.
  17. Can I be the first to say this is a real statement of intent!
  18. Ha good shout, that was a great goal although still think the keeper should have had it. Never seen so many people rush back into the ground 🤣
  19. im sure this discussion never happened but even if it did glad to see that you've let one wallies view on the value of bread or even covid get in the way of your crusade to get a few people you dont know on a football forum to vote labour at the next election.
  20. When you're regularly scoring 20+ goals a season you can do what you want IMO. Unfortunately we dont have a player who can score half that.
  21. Yes that was a quality goal, first season at St Marys. Lost 2-1 IIRC Another opposition goal that stands out in my mind is this one from Kevin Sheedy on 1 minute on the below video. Again there have been better goals but although i hated Everton at the time for obvious reasons i was a big fan of Kevin Sheedy, cracking player.
  22. Isn't it just. Funny how they're almost pretending none of that ever happened.
  23. These stick in my mind. I think I’ve seen better individual goals but don’t think I’ve ever seen two in the same game by the same player as good especially as I was right behind the goal for them all
  24. Lots of backslapping for Jeremy Hunt in parliament.
