  1. David O'Leary treated them all like his babies.
  2. So who specifically lost their dignity? Or are you just making that up because of a sketch on a midly amusing comedy show from 35 years ago. Around the same time there were comedy sketches about moody teenagers, how do we know that child wasn't autistic or have ADHD or be trapped in the wrong gender? How disgraceful. What about the sketch about the man who could only say things sarcastically which led to him getting beaten up, how vile that they should mock his voice. If you're going to go down that road then plenty of other bandwagons for you to jump on.
  3. Except i said it didn't but never mind.
  4. Much like you reading a few paper reports about girls "losing their dignity" because they wanted to play football and make out there is a nationwide problem with it then.
  5. So for the second time in under 24 hours you called me a bellend about something you actually agree with me on
  6. Can you imagine the reaction in his local when Soggy walks in. JUst dont ask him if he's alright, you'll never get away.
  7. yes, he signed on saturday but it was one the club decided not to bother announcing.
  8. Evidence you dont want to believe, you'd rather believe this poor girls had to hide away from those nasty teachers and coaches that would cain them if they got caught playing football. I'd prefer to listen to real life experiences, first hand told by those that were there than media driven stuff with no actual direct quotes or evidence.
  9. Talking of classic, look who's turned up 🤣 "bellend" 🤣 So yet again you call me a bellend for saying something you agree with yourself "All the hype and banging on about equality is a bit OTT" bit like calling me a bellend last night for saying islamaphobia is racism then in the next post saying it is a form of racism. maybe if you started to think before you type you wouldn't constantly come across as so incredibly stupid 🤷‍♀️
  10. It didn't ruin it for me, as i said i enjoyed it far more than i thought and didn't need it to cheer me up, unlike some people.
  11. Was he the guy we missed out on for the sake of £1m because we wouldnt go over our £15m cap?
  12. 6. Oriol Romeu – 2023 11. Nathan Redmond – 2023 19. Moussa Djénépo – 2023 24. Mohamed Elyounoussi – 2023 32. Theo Walcott - 2023 43. Yan Valery – 2023 Guess these are on the ones we'd sell if we could, all of them with a year left on their contracts. Not difficult to understand why we cant get rid of any of them. Only really Romeu and perhaps Redmond that you'd think would get into another premier league team.
  13. I used to and got accused of trolling because it wasn't what people wanted to hear.
  14. Lets see if the US bring a mob to Rome next year, bet they dont.....
  15. I suspect it'll be similar to a few years back when there was a very good ashes series and for a couple of weeks the news was full of how great a sport cricket it, much better than football which is boring etc. As soon as the season started it stopped and everyone just went back to normal. I enjoyed the tournement much more than i thought i would and chuffed to win it but the one thing that has ruined it is the amount of people falling over each other to convince us all and probably themselves, that it's so amazing using it as a chance to be self righteous rather than just going with it and enjoying it. Some of the stuff said and written has been utter laughable bollox but lapped up by those desperate to show how much they care.
  16. that'll be a happy solution for everyone and would get rid of a lot of the whinging about inclusivity. Mind you not sure it's a good idea for Sadoldgit to be around too many women......
  17. Maybe rainbow Saints could start following them as some of the said they are too scared to go to the mens game. With their 40+ members they're growing as fast as the womens game anyway.
  18. i didn't say i did. Point being that it's another example of trying to "prove" it's somehow superior to the mens game.
  19. Easy isnt it. Sell him, him and him, bung them £40m for Broja, job done. Fancy a job son?
  20. Just put radio 5 on and they were going on about what a great family friendly atmopshere it is at womens football, none of the problems there was at last years mens final. I guess that'll be another hobby horse now, much like "you dont get fans behaving like that in rugby"
  21. Im just providing some hope for those who feel that it's all too much. If you need something you have no control over to cheer you up, then it suggests you are yet to recognise this. Happiness is not made for you, it comes from your own actions.
  22. If you rely on external factors to cheer you up then you need to reassess the priorities in your life. Happiness is a journey not a destiation soggy.
  23. He didn't even know the the difference between expected and accepted so very much doubt there is anything in this. That said though i'm pretty sure he does have a few contacts at the club
  24. Sadly not, both were just run of the mill players in their time, but never once have i heard any suggestion of them or anyone else "losing thier dignity" because they were female footballers.
  25. But why would they? Most games dont have crowds to warrant opening a 30,000+ stadium. The revenue generate from these matches with the small crowds and lower ticket prices would mean clubs would struggle to break even from them, plus they'd all be rattleing around in a massive stadium with at best only 10% full. They aren't running charities. Plenty of clubs reserves teams play at other grounds for a lot of games as well, dont here anyone grizzle gutting about that.
