  1. sad day and wish him well. Right decision and our poor form has gone on too long. Decent guy, had to work under very difficult circumstanced with Goa but at times we played some great football. I'll never forget how great it was to sit top of the league for a while, some great wins. Equally there were some awful results and performances. It's probably the best for all parties, Ralph has looked like a dead man walking for a long time and knew his time was up, we need some fresh ideas to give everyone a lift. For the first 2-3 years he felt a great fit for us but for most of this year it's felt like this was inevitable. Wish him all the best for the future.
  2. It amazing isn't, for years we as away fans were treated like shit by stewards, fans ejected for not doing very much, stories made up against them by home police and stewards, treated generally really poorly with over the top stewarding. Yet come to St Marys do what you like as an away fan, in fact you'll even be welcomed into the home end, but if your a saints fan woe betide anyone who puts a foot wrong.
  3. we do have a ready made song for him though. It'd be great to hear the northam signing this with all the wacky hand movements too
  4. it'll be someone we've never heard of but the hipsters on here will have admired him for a while and know all about.
  5. It's clear there is something more at play than incompetence. There are leaks to the media here either from someone inside the club who wants Ralph out or SR themselves. The whole Athletic article yesterday smacked of that, from the timing of it, the stuff said about when it would be done. That isn't some bumbling idiot spouting off to the media, there is an agenda at play to make it untenable for Ralph, to me that's really shabby way to treat any employee or colleague. Lets hope any new manager doesnt think we are a bunch of backstabbing scumbags.
  6. All saints fans fault
  7. Luis Suarez will be a free agent in January. He’s 35 now but we could do a lot worse
  8. It's like the Apprentice this isn't it. Who is responsible for the failure of this task. Ralph, Semmens and Steele currently in the boardroom pleading their case.
  9. I wonder how much they are involved day to day. If the rumours are true that Semmens cocked up the striker then it says to me not very much I also wonder how much of the signing of a load of kids was SD, or they gave Semmens the money with the free reign. Either way they aren't going to be happy that they've spent £80m and we've got worse.
  10. Anyone else uncomfortable with the timing of this article? Came out within minutes of the final whistle with a claim the decision was made towards the end of the match. No chance, this is either someone inside the camp leaking things or a briefing from SR to do this if we lose. Either way the concept of him being sacked but still being in charge for another week is completely ridiculous
  11. Someone has leaked that out, pretty poor to do that, they have to sack him now, no way can he go into the Liverpool game with everyone knowing he’s going, it’s going to be bad enough anyway without a dead duck manager waiting to get his P45
  12. The frustration is we have played okay, just missed both our chances and they’ve scored with every shot on target
  13. I doubt there will be any away fans in the home end, the stewards have had special training this week on dealing with this. It’s clearly something that needs special training as it’s obviously too difficult to spot fans wearing oppositions shirts and scarves or cheering the other teams goal without it.
  14. No doubt another dour, boring, narrow defeat
  15. 2 years ago today we beat Newcastle to go top of the premier league. Today we are trying to get out of the bottom 3

    Halloween

Good point but then if we celebrate foiling acts of terrorism then we are are also to celebrate foiling acts of terrorism done inshallah and that would be racist.

    Halloween

Same round ours. Thankfully I was at my boys football training Monday night so missed most of it, loads of kids on our road but missus Turkish said we’d not been bothered really.

    Halloween

I’m sure 20 years or so ago bonfire night was a much bigger thing than halloween here. Penny for the guy, loads of fireworks displays and always learnt about it at school. Hardly seen any of that. I guess celebrating acts of terrorism just isn’t woke enough for the modern day little snowflakes.
  19. When we signed Edozie it was reported that he was better than Sancho was at the same age. Leeds fans seem to really rate Adams, in fact only last night I was talking to one whilst waiting for a takeaway and he said that I’d they’d signed him when they tried they’d be much further up the table. you’re right if/when we go down most of our first eleven will get other clubs, Plus Edozie. We’ll be stuck with McCarthy, Elyanoussi, Djenepo, Walcott, Lyanco and Armstrong im amazed Brighton at 6th without a prolific striker it seems impossible to win games without.
  20. no one said I wish we were like leeds why would you not want to be like Brighton? Bournemouth that are currently 2 places above us you mean? wolves just appointed a new manager so let’s reserve judgement
  21. It’s impossible for us to compete with them.
  22. Coming from two goals down and winning, showing so fight, scoring goals. All things we don’t seem to be capable of
  23. 2-3 Brighton. I’m so grateful we are in the same league as them
  24. Bloody hell Leeds winning now! Back to back wins for them
