No names on the shirts for Alzheimer’s seems to be a thing now. Maybe a sad faced polar bear on the collar for awareness of climate change, a depressed looking jaguar on the sleeve to promote the end of deforestation in South America and maybe we can squeeze in an empty water bucket where the players names used to be to raise awareness of Ikebos 10 mile daily walk for clean water in Sudan

Thanks for the lesson
-
Guess it’s not aimed at you either then. Difficult to work out who it is actually aimed at
-
Maybe we could do a poll on here, who didn’t know about dementia before half time today. Give us a bigger sample size
-
Not really having the desired impact is it when 100% of the people discussing it so far it isn’t aimed at
-
So you weren’t aware of dementia until 5pm today?
-
I didn’t need my awareness raising thanks all the same
-
Who is it aimed at then if it’s not people watching the match?
-
An awareness campaign in a football match not aimed at people who are watching the football match. Okay then
-
I didn’t need my awareness raising thanks all the same

Just thinking that looks a class act.

He was the hipsters choice for saints manager c2014 I believe.

Jesus Wept. Ukraine and knee before kick off, now we’ve got namesless shirts to raise awareness of dementia. A never ending conveyor belt of nonsense

Had a period when he was at spurs where he was arguably the best player in the world at the time. Got his move to Real but never hit those heights again. Strong, powerful, quick, he had it all but never quite hit the heights he could have consistently. What a discovery by Redknapp, finding him and turning him from a left back into a magnificent player

Given the theme seems to be bravery I fully expect it to be some virtue signalling nonsense with LGBTs and so on interviewed about how brave they have to be with a rainbow kit or something nauseating

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

No one will take Walcott, we are stuck with him for another season. We might get a small fee for Djenepo as hes got a year left and no doubt on big wages compared to the sort of club who’d want him. I’m up in the air on Elyanoussi looked like a joke of a player when he first joined and eight months or so in 4 years of adequate don’t make him a a nailed on extension. Maybe an extra year or two rather than a long term deal but if we can get a decent fee I think we’d take it

We had quite a few blue away kits in the 80s and early 90s. Some of them very smart.
-
Yes he ticks a lot of boxes at 24 he's young for a centre back, he's definitely Hungary in more ways than one and therefore guarenteed to massively improve
-
this was the away kit that season IIRC.

Heard his just taken his anger out by doing 10 handstand push ups

No one had heard of Broja or Livermento this time last year, now they are considered two rising stars. If we dont get Broja then i'm sure our socuting team already eyeing the next one we can bring in. We seem to be doing a little bit better than the days of Carillo and Hoedt.

Middlesbourgh at home that season, 2-0 up in the last minute and still managed to draw 2-2. We were such a gutless team that season, absolutely no bottle. The look of frightened rabbits in the tunnel before the game at Fratton Park was shameful. People criticise players like Danny Fox but him standing in front of the West Stand at Fratton staring into the crowd totally unmoved whilst they were giving it heaps will always make him a hero in my eyes.
