Not sure when it came in, but they definitely ramped up in the 2000s with fans being able to be given a banning order for pretty much anything.

It seems strange to me that a few drunk blokes running on a football pitch are are punished much more severely that shoplifters for example. Yes it’s a silly thing to do but ultimately no harm was done, no one was hurt, nothing broken. For 3 years they won’t be able to go near a football ground whilst a match is on and also have to hand their passport in every time England play, regardless of if they’ve even been abroad for an England game or not. It’s all a bit OTT really but still gets the arrest and banning order numbers up.

what about an extra tier on the stadium and we could put them the away fans up there?

We could move the fans into the corner and create a chapel kop

I'm pretty sure it carries an automatic 3 year ban. i dont read too much into fans reaction, this is the same fan base that sang "on the pitch" after we beat Walsall to win promotion from league 1 then when a few got on the pitch chanted "wankers" at them 😕

I guess we’d want to avoid Chelsea as Broja won’t be available. Guess we’d want Two or Liverpool, City and Chelsea to draw each other. Outside of that id fancy us against anyone. Winners of Forest or Huddersfield or Boro at home would be nice, beat Palace in the Semi then complete an FA cup final double over Manchester with beating city in the final.

It’s a long time since I’ve been so buzzing at a result as that. Probably due to thinking we’d get comfortably beaten when I saw the team. A master class from Ralph in hindsight, 2 great goals and well deserved win.

I thought he did alright too, his pace is electric, clearly lacks a bit of confidence but caused them a few problems.
