What?!! SO you support scenes like this do you in the name of "Standing up to racism"? 'Black Lives Matter' protest descends into violence in London - YouTube Officer knocked off horse during clash with BLM protesters in London - YouTube Although maybe you'll believe what some of us have been saying now it's in your only source of news. Black Lives Matter has increased racial tension, 55% say in UK poll | Black Lives Matter movement | The Guardian

not wanting to dampen everyones enthusiasm but just a reminder of the last time we replaced our best striker with two replacements
-
I feel a strongly worded tweet coming. How dare they be so uninclusive
-
It isn't wrong to stand up for this topic, as we've seen from the reaction of other campaigns being positively received. However much the cheerleaders dont like it the taking the knee is divisive and antagonistic. People like Soggy say to ignore the gesture, anyone that boos it is a racist. Well thats kind of the point, which unsurprisingly he fails to grasp. its not being anti racist that is the issue it's the gesture. For example Millwall fans booed the knee but the following week applauded their same players making a different gesture. Did anyone boo kick it out? So it's not hard to work out the cause isn't the issue here.

Redmond is terrible as a striker. It'll be The best team we've got available is Diallo where you've put Armstrong, Armstrong where you've put Tella and Tella where you've put Redmond.

Whatever happens we are winners off the pitch. 👏👏👏👏👏 https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2021-08-10/southampton-fc-to-wear-hummel-rainbow-shirt-this-weekend

So being told to do a totally ineffective gesture by those in charge then, kind of what you’ve been saying wasn’t going on.
-
The AA they know the route to goal
-
Agreed. I think we’ve got used to Les and the dicking about in the transfer windows. Those in charge has done well shifting out the crap and getting good money for Ings acting quickly to use it. Still work to do but much more optimistic than at the weekend
-
Good work saints. Thought we were going to miss out over the weekend but great to get this done. If he can score c10 goals this season that’s a good return.

Yorkshire people are a funny bunch, i know i've lived here for 8 years. I'm sure her English is much nicer than most of them, I still have no idea what they're on about when they go on about go down the ginnel, nowt like a proper brew, fair t middlein or i'm nithered. No surprise they ask her where she's from I dont think it's racist, more of a compliment.
-
that's you that is. No one has said racism doesn't exist and no one has said (apart from you) that they know better than everyone else. The whole discussion have been about if taking the knee is causing division and if there are better/more effective methods of anti racism gestures. It seems of the two biggest cheerleaders aintforever has said the players only do it because others do and dont give a shit anyway. You have have been reduced to "well it isn't doing harm, just ignore it" line. It kind of suggests when even you two who have been the loudest applauding from the sidelines since the start are making these assessments that it really isn't that effective. Although amusing to see once again you completely fail to comprehend the discussion.
-
Just trying to play the "everyones so thick" card as usual. Although now he's admitted the players probably dont give a shit then it kind of pisses all over his entire stance.
-
No you're right, it was something to do with a police issue which meant they couldn't be in the corner, either segregation or where they come out when they get outside the stadium.
-
Hang on a minute, you were full of gushing praise for how great it was that the lads took the knee when it all started, now you're saying in reality they dont give a shit and just do what everyone else does. Only a few posts ago you were saying millionaire footballers wouldn't do anything if they didn't want to as they hold all the aces!!! All over the place, yet again, come on, do the "you're so thick" line
-
oh we're off back down the everyone else is thick route are we?!!! Okay as you're struggling i'll spell it out. As it's the players decision and they are no way influenced by their clubs or the PL, why didn't the none English premier league players take the knee at the Euros? Given it's their own choice and all that.
-
Are you going to give your view on why the none English players didn't take the knee at the Euros if they are so behind it, as you claim they are
-
I watched a bit of the Levante game and he wasn't as bad as i remembered, but still looked no where near a player that should be in a premier league squad.

Yaya And Kolo Toure Song - YouTube If anyone does this near me the very least they can expect is a giant foam hand slapped round their cannister
-
You know it'll happen. Remember when they tried getting the Kelvin, Steven Davis one going? Lets hope he goes to Palace.
-
Elyanoussi is on there, £60k a week. More money down the drain but with McCarthy, Forster and Long out of contract next summer that will be some more big wages gone
-
Just don’t let his missus go near any mobile phone shops in town
-
So who are the other two? My guess is one loan and one permanent. AOC on loan with a defender/defensive midfielder on a permanent deal. Although we also need cover at left back, unless the new lad will play there or right back and move KWP across?
-
Not a done deal if paper works and medical not yet done. Although sounds promising.
