Depends on how you measure success. How “successful” was Pochetino? Early exists in both cups and 8th placed finished. Puel was more successful if that’s your measurement. Hassenhuttl has finished 11th and there is a good chance of a top 10 finish and at least an FA Cup semi final this season, after taking over a team that looked doomed 2 years ago. Koeman finished 6th so more successful. Hughes kept up an awful team and got us to a FA cup cup semi final, only 4 managers have done that in 80+ years. Does that make him more of a success than Pochetino? Adkins got back to back promotions and we were heading in the right direction when he was sacked, possibly he was more successful than Pochetino. Pardew won a trophy. There is a very strong case to say only Pellegrino has been less successful than Pochetino of all our managers since relegation to league one.

Except no one has said that.

LOL. 2/3rds of adults in this country are overweight, so it's one of three things. Either their is a huge explosion in "thyroid problems" which is only happening in the western world in the last 20 years or so, 2/3s of the country are defying every law of science by eating healthy and exercising but still getting fat, or could it be most people eat and drinking too much and dont exercise enough. I wonder which one it is?

yeah but you want a policy from the government to tell you if you should book a holiday or not so it's no surprise you'd deny it.

28 appearances in our best season in the 90's, an integral part to the team that finished 10th in that famous 94/95 season. His tough tackling and hard work enable Le Tissier to shine that season achieving his record ever goal tally. it took a club record fee by Grimsby to prise him away from us, a much under rated cog in our most successful season between 89/90 and 02/03. Only got to look at our decline after he left to prove how important he was.

can you not refer to your personal covid guide that maps out exactly the things you should do specific to your own individual circumstances so you dont have to think for yourself? Oh thats right the useless, evil government didnt give us one.

Because I’ve met loads of fat cunts who stuff their faces with shit, sit on their arses all day then blame being fat on their genes or slow metabolism. the majority of people aren’t fat because of their metabolism, but being fat fucks up their metabolism, and plenty of other things.

Probably the funniest fad at the moment is intermittent fasting. aka skipping breakfast. The hype around it is ridiculous. People are actually paying for books and courses in it. They are paying to be told how to skip a meal, it’s insanity. All it’s doing is reducing their meals by one a day = eating less. Idiots.

Glad I am here to remind the forum of these important occasions in the calendar. As someone with ambitions to become director of diversity then I can use these moments on my CV to prove my commitment to the cause

If there are any I’m sure they will post on here to share their joy at their special Month. What’s a like being a gay poster on a modern football forum? I’d say this place is pretty welcoming and opening. No reason for them not to be open about their sexuality if that’s what they want to do

In a very small amount of cases. The vast majority use metabolism and genes as excuses. Always amused me people who say they eat what they want, you can’t sit on your arse all day living off McDonald’s and fish and chips, you don’t see many slim people who drink 4 pints of lager a day. A lot of people who claim to have high metabolisms are simply very active and a lot of people who claim to have slow metabolisms are very lazy.

A few possible reasons Xenophobia - wanting the British Oxford vaccine, none of that foreign muck inside me Microchips - has it been confirmed yet which one contains Bill Gates chip? Until it has best keep on top of what’s in us. Not wanting a Tory vaccine - anything developed or funded by the Tories is evil and vile and I want anything but the Oxford vaccine.

What's he said that isn't true?

People cooked from scratch back then with fresh ingredients too, My nan and grandad used to buy all their food from the local butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. Not much processed, packet food back then. So bad for you, packed with sugar, salt, sweeteners and other shit. I listen to a pod cast by a doctor who says that he can sure 70% of peoples health problems by changing their diet.
-
Because it's too simple for people to believe it. Like most things there is a lot of bull shit out there which makes people think they need all these complex diets, fitness programs or machines and bollocks like intermittant fasting, promoted by people trying to sell you something. Eat less and go for a walk every day, that's all people need to do.

So angry Timmy, is everything alright at home?

The trouble is i fear there will be. For the big clubs there will always be someone wanting to take the seat of some local fan who doesn't want it any more. I remember reading about Liverpools champions league final last year where a thousands of local Liverpool fans couldn't get tickets yet a fan from China who'd never been to a game before got one and said it was the best day of his life, that's what you're up against. For clubs like Saints a lot of the people i used to go with dont bother any more, myself included. We've just been replaced and the next generation coming through now will grow up used to VAR and it'll be all part of the match day experience. Anyway, premier league clubs dont want people like us anymore, they want people who will sit and applaud politely decked out fully in club merchandise, buy a program, some food and drinks, take some photos and buy something in the club shop before rating their match day experience as 10/10. I'd rather watch my local league 2 team or play golf these days.

Probably best given the new variant of Covid is from there too.

Are we all enjoying it? I think it's great that we can all embrace this. Although why February? Why have they chose the shortest and coldest month of the year to celebrate the bright, colourful, rainbow people that we as a society benefit from?

It's the panic that every mutation is worse than the one before it, the headline news and details as to how many cases they found and where it came from, all for something only a few months ago they explained away as being perfectly normal.
