Nice shout from Ian Wright on match of the day, said he was brilliant. -
We are in a Europa league battle, yes?
-
It’s not good business to sign players when we already have players pal
-
No we won’t. We need to average a little more than half a point a game to get to 40 points now. It probably won’t even take that much, one win and a draw could easily be enough. A loss today though and to be on 31 points losing at home to one of the worst teams in the league and it’d had been very different and much more pressure. We were in a relegation battle last week, albeit in a very good position to not go down but today’s win has put a totally different perspective on the run in and we are as good as safe.

We don’t tend to do well against them, Can see Antonio bullying our defenders again. They are poor at the moment and will inevitably lose tomorrow at Liverpool. However the natives are restless but we all know from the thread on here during the week the atmosphere from the fans has absolutely no bearing on the game or teams performance so unfortunately we can’t use that to our advantage.

I’ll drive him there myself! LMFAO

Shame slattery appears to be a bit of a wrong un as we look to have two very good player in the making there. -
He’s on the bench and MLG was quick to point out he played last week. Yet our manager prefers playing one of our best midfielders out of position there. Thank god we didn’t need to do anything in January!

Valery is third choice right back and we only have two

Ah, I see the elusive 5 pledges were mentioned. Promised to be revealed in February 2018 as they were on Kruger’s desk right then, still no sign of them. #wewaiton

In fact your actual point is exactly why it’s not normalising it. They are successful despite being gay, like you say “it’s nothing to to be ashamed of”. Coming out as gay to show that gay people can be successful to and it’s nothing to be Ashamed of is doing exactly the opposite of normalising it. And you called my comment dumb.
-
By making a point of saying you’re gay that ain’t normalising it. Do heterosexual people come out and say I’m successful and I’m heterosexual? No, so why would a gay person need to do it.
-
Or is it that due to zero tolerance more incidents are now reported and people arrested when previously they wouldn't have been?
-
I’m really not sure why so many people are desperate to talk about people’s sexuality. WE MUST HAVE A GAY FOOTBALLER.
-
I don’t remember him playing since and yes he was absolutely awful in that game. I still find it incredible that we went into the window saying we were going to strengthen the window on numerous occasions and came out of it weaker ?
-
It’s been built up to be a massive issue though. Remember a couple of years back a “who are they?” Type campaign when there was a rumour that a couple of current premier league players were going to come out. Genuinely don’t think anyone would bat an eyelid these days but of course there would be a fawning over their bravery by the media if it where to happen. Like I said above though if people genuinely do want to normalise it then don’t come out in the first place, just carry on with your lives. Maybe that’s what the current gay players are doing and they’re already a step ahead of the “we HAVE to have an openly gay footballer” brigade

A Kids game. He's not played a first team game for months.
-
It's not daft to think one of them might be fit all the time is it.
-
Eh? You are odd Adrian, but what can you expect when you have the same name as a fictional boxers wife?
-
It’s very strange that on a thread where I’m supporting homosexuality by normalising it so that gay people don’t feel the need to come out I’ve been subject to abuse and accusations of homophobia. I guess some people don’t want it to be normal.
-
Spot on. Coming out isn’t normalising it as heterosexuals don’t come out as heterosexual. It will be only normalised when no one has to do this. But that won’t stop people getting all angry and accusing others of homophobia for saying that.
-
It’s not a question of being sophisticated. It’s a very simple question that you seem to be getting very angry about. How is a gay person “coming out” normalising homosexuality?

He was on loan for about 10 games in the early 80s
