You’re right pal, I wish the guy I caught trying to break into my house a year ago, who had also burgled 6 other houses in our road and be allowed to carry on running riot had stopped acting like a c8nt or I wouldn’t have had to take the law into my own hands.

Reminds me of the time Rodney Trotter chased the handbag snatcher.

This is true pal, they do prioritse crime and leave some alone. Drive a car at 36 in a 30 at 4 In the morning, post a nasty tweet or look at someone funny before during or after a football match and they’re all over you, break into someone’s house or cause chaos on housing estates not so much.

It’s got a 1-0 defeat from a scrappy headed goal written all over it. Might have to do an infamous insurance bet.....

Ross “transfer guru” Wilson has a lot to answer for. -
Transfer guru, makes me laugh even now. He’ll probably do alright at rangers as the bar is much lower to succeed, you could be a competent championship player and do well in a good team in that league, so he’ll leave there with an enhanced CV.

Was Ings a gamble? He’s always been a decent enough striker, the issue was his fitness. As for the others you’re right about van dirk, add Cedric and Romeu to that list of ones that joined within weeks of him being here.redmond was a well known young player, hardly a discovery, Mccarthy was signed as a back up keeper, it’s only due to the fall from grace/exposure of FF that he’s now number one. So that leaves us with Hojbjerg, Armstrong, Bednarek and Djenepo. He’s an absolute fraud, story goes he was basically running the show by himself and making all the decisions towards the end, he didn’t like the fact he was going to be reined in so decided to jump at the chance of a move, not before he’d spunked a shed load of cash of crap.

A bit of a and b short term. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of short term, manageable debt. We’ve already shifted c£400k off the weekly wage bill since the start of last year, adding a generous £120k to it. I’m not counting loans as we don’t know what percentage we are paying or what other clubs are paying but given we’ve got 2 in and 5 out worst case we’d be neutral unless we’ve done a ridiculously bad deal. So see what we can shift, then a bit of short term debt if need be to give Ralph the 4-5 quality players in the model he needs (assuming no other first team player go) and there you go, two years time provided we don’t royally balls up Reed style you’re back to having a decent squad full of players we can sell and we’re back to our proper sustainable model with a much lower wage bill which anyone who isn’t completely deluded and mental would agree is the perfect model for a club like saints. -
I didn’t say it we’d definitely going to happen either. You asked where the claim came from so I showed you.

Some of them are, it’s only Kruger, Wilson and Reed who have gone As for my other points bonuses, agents fees and NI contributions have long been used by some as an excuse as to why we need to make a profit from transfers -
I’m truly Amazed he left here with a reputation as a transfer guru. Awful record

In isolation it doesn’t but factor in the wage bill, half a dozen players we can’t sell, inability to improve the squad without sales, it doesn’t quite paint the picture of the wonderful utopia of a brilliantly well run club you and the other cheerleaders like to make out it is -
Okay Matthew this telegraph article is one which is just inaccurate journalists making things up and didn’t come from the club. As opposed to this weeks telegraph article which is absolute truth.

Jeremy Wilson in the telegraph pal https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/11/19/southmaptons-off-field-overhaul-could-include-division-les-reeds/amp/

Didnt we have Paul Mitchell lined up last year, plus a few other names linked. We ended up giving Ross Wilson carte Blanche.

Don’t forget that unlike every other club we will need to pay Longys agent a fee for extending the deal, probably a bonus to Longy and then there are NI contributions to factor in. Big chunk of the summer budget gone there already -

“I had the money to buy players,” Cortese says. “But not the money to keep players.” I thought his fans said that no one would ever have left if Cortese had stayed? -

With every day that passes our self sustainable model appears to be less and less sustainable -
LOL. They said exactly the same thing last year and ended up with no one coming in.

People also said all Gary Linekar did was score goals, didn’t stop the champions of England and one of the worlds biggest clubs signing him. If a Player consistently scored 15+ goals a season in the premier league he’s be worth over £40m. FACT

Some posters on here are very much like remainers. If they don't get their way or their view gets challenged they scream, shout, get angry and call you names like a troll rather than sensibly address any of the issues raised. Then there are others ones that loudly complain how terrible this forum has become because of a small amount of people who everyone hates and no one disagrees with, some even threaten to leave the forum and move to another one yet never do. Yet there are a large majority of posters who carry on posting and enjoy this forum every day and realise how good they have got it, the quiet majority it's called who if they had to vote on their favourite posters we all know who it'd be. They choose to go about their business quietly though not making a scene if something gets said they don't like or agree with.

It's incredible that at 26 he's played more times for us than any other club, yet he seemed to miss more games than he played for us. He's only played more than 25 games in a season once, for us in his first season here. Could be a brilliant player if he wanted to be but i'd fully expect him to carry on with his 20 games a season average until his early 30s still thinking he's far better than the clubs he plays for.

He is to commercial radio what Hesingberg is to this place.
-
he wasn't arsed the two full years he was here, he told the club he wanted to leave so doesn't want to be here. Why on earth would he be worth another try?
