Vilhena deal completely off according to reports in NL. So basically means Reed is now our 3rd choice defensive midfielder. Would personally say, right now, Cork is better so IMO we have slightly weakened that position, but it has probably freed up the wages for Djuricic.

Would probably get additional games for an appeal. Stacks of reds for far less this season.

Schneiderlin hasn't been the same since that thread about him having long fingers. Think it spooked him and rightly so.

In those cases the club who wanted them (eventually) stumped up good fees. Trying to take a 20 year old who made the Dutch squad aged 18 for £2.2m is a bit of an insult IMO.

Yeah its pretty poor. I do think Koeman is a little too open on some of his comments. If Wenger had spoken about Schneiderlin in the same way RK did on Vilhena we would be going mad. If we don't want to stump up the cash then don't say anything.

Impossible to predict the team without knowing whether, or how many of, the injured players will return. Mane will start though surely.

Lets see how tedious Stewie's comments are and we will know for certain.

Koeman said he is training with the u21s. He has been out for the whole season so I wouldn't expect much from him first team wise.

Ok. With Tadic it was far from straightforward as far as paperwork goes. If Djuricic is similar, he won't be available until after the QPR game. But I'm sure it will be fine.

Tadic's paperwork was a nightmare if I remember right. Had to miss a friendly to go back to Holland and sort it.

Was at the game so hadnt seen it back. Based on that its a yellow for me. Unfortunately the fact Barrow was stretchered off (hopefully he is ok) probably (wrongly) makes an appeal less likely to suceed. Also appeals rarely work for these types. It was a bad tackle. If it were successfully appealed than reds would be appealed every week. Gaston Ramirez and Benteke reds vs Spurs were far less than Bertrand's.

Good technical player but set piece delivery aside doesn't impact the game. Needs to become more aggressive to really go far. Wouldn't make my first XI when everyone is fit, but a decent option.

Koeman downplayed this one a little on Solent. Think Djuricic much more likely.

If he played for them today you would think its unlikely he will be a Saints player by the end of tomorrow. Anyone think Koeman's comments about Vilhena on Friday were slightly out of order? Imagine if Wenger was asked about Schneiderlin and said "Morgan's Agent spoke to me and said he wants to leave in the summer. He is a good player and hopefully he will come here." We wouldn't be happy at all.
