He obviously isn't seeing as we just sold his vision.
-
Anthony Salz is the key player in it all.
-
It's a bit late now. We just sold his vision in case you hadn't seen.
-
Do we even need Holtby seeing as we have Tadic and Ramirez who are similar types?
-
Thanks mate, all plausible.
-
He may have been warned off by the club.

Assume we end up having lost the following: Lambert, Shaw, Lallana, Lovren, Chambers, Morgan and Jay. How many signings do we need and which positions? For me it would be: GK RB LB CB x 2 CM Winger Striker Is this how others see it? That's 8 and to be honest you could say two strikers. Any departures on top ie Fonte or Clyne would add to the tally obviously. 34 days left in window so we need a signing every 4 days or so. Or to get them for start of the season pretty much one every two days. Should be fine because we have a good scouting department and Reed said end of May/early June that we were moving in on targets so should just be a case of wrapping them up now.

But he did have the cash and did a great job with it.

I was there and it certainly was not the kind of event where players would have been saying anything about future plans. Even the ones who have left were very, very diplomatic and certainly nobody would have been going on about the type of club they wanted to move to whilst talking to Saints fans who had paid a lot of money to be there.

No worries pal. We are all in the same boat here despite opinions. It's been a **** Saints summer!
-
End of the day, the Agents of any of the decent Saints players left will be working overtime to find something for them.
-
Contract winding down, unlikely to sign another one. Could easily play for a team higher up the league and one with ambition. If he does go then we are truly ****ed though. Would need 10 signings in a month. Also, Ben Smith does seem to like winding up Saints fans.
-
JWP could also go I reckon. Have said for ages Clyne is an interesting one because his contract is winding down, and again as with others no reason for him to sign another one.
-
It wasn't really that bonkers though. I only a picked up on what I saw, both in MPs reluctance to commit, Lallana's comments from the awards night, and from being there myself, some other bits and pieces. It was all there for people to see if they wanted to.
-
They just want the best for the club, as do I. Previously on here I have been very positive, but it's always best to tailor your mood to the reality of the situation, otherwise you become defined by being positive or negative rather than reacting to what the circumstances are.

Just wondering what people thought of Egil during his time at Saints? I thought he was a solid striker, the type that did well against the slow defenders of that era. Could be a tidy finisher and got some important goals for us. Seemed a top lad too. Probably still is. Strange there are barely any decent Norwegian players now as this era was full of the ****ers.

I'm always told that everything I write here is negative and depressing. I call it the truth. No apologies needed though, I feel gutted to have been right.

Morgan and Jay to Follow According to Simon Peach

It's obviously awful but let's just get as much as we can for those two, shut the door and start rebuilding the club. -
Pochettino.

Will this be the best transfer window for Saints ever?
Saint Charlie replied to Mallagroth's topic in The Saints
This thread, deary me. I think the guy is serious, too. -
I will not pamper to your whim's and wining

You want to implement a judgement window like the transfer window where you mandate certain periods that opinions are allowed? Kind of goes against the very point of this forum. -
Morgan and Jay to Follow According to Simon Peach
Saint Charlie replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Imagine we are keen to get rid of Jay Rod as probably owed some of his fee to Burnley as part of the crippling transfer debt that has put the future of the club in doubt. -
Koeman perhaps may consider his own future? He knew a few would go but surely not this many. Only attraction about Saints is that we play in the PL.

Could Koeman resign? -
Is it an option? Perhaps there might be a space in the Championship if Blackpool continue to emulate us. End of the day if Jay and Morgan go we will need 10 signings in August which we won't make. Instead of KL wasting all the money she has recouped we could just rescue Frazer Richardson from Rotherham, Chappy from Millwall, Papa Waigo from Qatar and should have enough this time to sign Antonio. Fans preferred the Championship according to many on here, and seeing as we apparently have to keep Hooiveld, he was less terrible at that level. Fonte also seems desparate to play there, so instead of letting him go to Cardiff we could just give him the opportunity with us. Keep the PL for the top boys and go back to where be belong. Beats being ridiculed all season whilst watching Chambers and Shaw turn into world class players and hearing how "made up" Lambert is at Liverpool. Also, its the type of level Pelle and Tadic are used to so they should do well.
