Would be nice if they bothered to confirm on the OS. Its like they havent realised fans might want to watch some of the games!

Anyone heard anything about this? They have been on sale to home fans since last Thursday. Is there going to be an away allocation or are we just better buying tickets from Brighton?

Whats a bigger risk: Saints offering a player who is clearly well on the road to recovery a 5 year contract on double the money Or Liverpool/Spurs paying a £15m transfer fee and even higher wages to a player on the road to recovery from injury If those clubs are willing to buy him they obvuously feel he will recover fully, so Saints who should have even greater knowledge from the medical staff, must be fairly confident of it. Its a non issue, we need to tie him down, if only to prevent his transfer value from decreasing.

I meant Swindon will be the first indication of some of the younger players on how ready they are to be part of the first team setup for the season. Of course it won't be our strongest team, but we can take more from it than a game versus amateurs.

He was one of the best players in the PL last season so of course he will. Besides they will have lots of games, he will get his share the same as the others.

Mayuka's finishing was poor though. Interesting Sharp played in midfield, basically a body rather than a serious option for next season. Couple of nice bits from Targett from what you saw, Swindon will be the first real indication though.

Would de Vrij be interested in a mid table PL club? After the WC he had someone better than us will surely come in for him at some stage this window.

Club were ok to prevent RK from seeing the three England players...you would think they could have got rid of the (obvious) deadwood too at the same time!

Possibly, and certainly now! In all seriousness, nothing against Sharp - but hopefully once the real friendlies come round he will have been loaned out. Football is a ruthless game afterall and we carried a couple of passengers last season who are still involved which is also slightly worrying.

Lovren versus Sharp in training must be pretty funny to watch. The only striker Ive seen who is slower than Lambert!

Sharp is nowhere near good enough for PL level. Bit of a backward step that he has been brought back into the fold IMO. Wasnt part of last pre season. Hopefully no injuries in this friendly then its a good workout!

I see the Gash hasn't bothered to turn up. On another note, and have said this for a while, Billy Sharp would score goals at any level. Need to sort his contract out.
