I'm fairly certain Jack Cork would be happy to have his summer break interrupted with the offer of a new contract. Especially as he hasn't heard anything on it despite having asked. Board have been in place for nearly six months, so surely should be in a position now to make these kind of decisions. Waiting just adds uncertainty and will make players like Cork and Fonte start to sort out other moves (if they haven't already).

Koeman would be good. Hard to know though whether the reports have much in them, or are derived from his Agent's comments. Almost goes without saying for the Dutch, but he speaks good English. Would imagine probably Spanish too from his time in Spain.

Worst bit is that the news of your top man of the last four years leaving is broken by a muppet like Jim White, then discussed by a smiling England Manager before anyone from our club has even said a word. Something not right about that.

Schneiderlin said he wants to play for a CL team though? Lovren being professional but once something concrete comes up and others have gone his opinion may well be different.
