As fans, we can hardly complain about what has happened to us recently. Not sure what difference Ownership makes to team selection and performances. Best thing KL can do is back the Manager with a new contract and leave him to continue the excellent job that he is doing and us fans to enjoy what has, on the whole, been our best top flight season in 20 years.

Not at all. Our best top flight Manager for many years who has the team playing generally superb football. Today was disappointing but doesnt detract from my opinion of the great work MP is doing. Not at all. More crucial than today is that we keep him this summer. Absolutely vital if we want to stay where we are.

Even the last couple of league games there has been nothing on the bench to change the game. At the moment we have one central striker, and nobody is even injured in that position. Jay and Lallana the only two that provide an attacking spark, and they get flogged playing 90mins nearly every game.

Thought Jos did well today but to lighten the mood what is your favourite Jos howler in a Saints shirt? I thought the Newcastle away one this season was high up on the howler scale, as was Fulham at home last season.

Felt sorry for Lallana. Was clear after the first 5mins that it was going to be all down to him in an attacking sense.

Agree. Fair enough to rest one or two but not Boruc, Fonte, Cork, Morgan and Jay. No point in Kelvin playing and Hooiveld and Guly have never done anything positove at this level.

Expected Wanyama, Clyne and JWP to start, all good players but Hooiveld and Guly have had enough chances now and neither are at the level needed. Jos especially.
