  1. Not a huge Bramble fan myself - we havent historically done well with free transfers, think we don't get in there quick enough. Would be great to see us get one of these done for a player of this type (although not Bramble).
  2. Headless Chicken is a lazy stereotype IMO for the Cech incident. Expected better from you Wiggles.
  3. Agree - Delap is a good example of that, and probably someone like Chris Marsden too. Hunt used to be a top player though and at one stage was linked with Utd and Spurs for 12m so on a free might be worth a go to see if he could rediscover his form. Certainly the better of the Hunt brothers, Noel is poor.
  4. Decent article on the OS, certainly doesn't sound like he is leaving...if anything it sounds like we have suggested he pulls out to get properly fit for next year.
  5. Career has gone downhill since the Cech incident but would be worth a trial in pre season. Has a fire in his belly and passion that we sadly lacked last season.
  6. Not sure why people are even entertaining the idea this might be true. LOL.
  7. This comes around so often on here. What is clear is this: - Sharp is not good enough for the Premier League. - Sharp no longer fits our style and his alround game is below par for this level, no disgrace. - Sharp is a good fox in the box in the Championship, not a brilliant Championship player, but good. - Sharp won't play for us in the PL and will leave this summer. - Overall he was a great signing for us to ensure we went up (once Tadanari Lee got injured and he could get in the team).
  8. Caps not a good judge IMO. Morgan has none for France yet is easily worth 15. Belgium have some excellent midfielders and he is in the squad at the moment I think.
  9. Its utter rubbish, like all those 'ITK' Twitters.
  10. Yeah, easy to see Ramirez's quality in that montage.
  11. You been on one of those EDF marches Shane? Bit of a electric affair by all accounts.
  12. Not really Essruu's problem what they do, he just ferries the players around to where they need to go and is a reliable source.
  13. Probably the fact he is still carrying injuries from this season. Would imagine this will benefit us, he can have a proper rest after a very tough debut season as a pro.
  14. I certainly have no idea which clubs, apart from Fulham, were talking to the agent of Boateng and Amorebieta, as Im sure you don't. On that basis I have no idea how in demand they were. I do know that they were both out of contract however, as did Adrian before you wrongly fobbed him off.
  15. How do you know? By all accounts Boateng has been close to joining Fulham for about a year so not much of a suprise they got it done early, he was out of contract so they could start speaking to him in January. Amorebieta might have had more interest in him but Fulham have been strongly linked since March and again could speak to him from January so any likely interest from others clubs could have waned months ago. Adrian said Fulham were able to do good business early because the players were out of contract (true) and no so much in demand (uknown). You said those factors didn't apply to Fulham's signings but they clearly do more than they don't.
  16. Amorebieta and Boateng were out of contract so it does apply, and certainly makes those deals easier to do as the players want to get it sorted earlier and they are able to negiotate with them since last Jan.
  17. Whats the point of this thread? Anyone we are linked with will be put on the other Summer transfer thread anyway.
  18. Cork had him in his pocket both games. Average IMO.
  19. He has a pro contract already.
  20. Weirdly this is the best thread you have ever created Shane.
