Worth pointing out that Pochettino also said he was in a planning meeting today with NC on transfer targets and goals for next year and that he fully expects that he and NC will be here next year....

He has an allegiance to the clubs vision under Cortese. If he only joined the club because of Cortese's plans then only natural he would want to work on them with Cortese. Also, remember the context of this...games are being played and people need to be saying the right things. Look out for some of Morgan's quotes later...

There is certainly a conflict between MP saying he will leave if NC does, and NC being apparantly likely to leave. Compared with: We are having a planning meeting for next season today and want to get our transfer business done early. Of course they have to be professional - but if there was a real, real liklihood of neither being there next year you would imagine they would want to confirm that either way, and that the Liebherr's would not want two outgoing employees to suddenly go and spend a lot of money.

End of the day, the players and management are there because of Cortese: thats a fact. And calling him Clotese just makes you look bitter about something. Car park tax?

If NC goes we will most likely be relegated IMO. The club, rightly or wrongly, is lead by him and the management and players are mostly there for him.

It shows that contrary to popular belief, the staff (players and management) love working for Nicola, his vision and ambition and their loyalties are to him, not the Liebherr family. We would fall apart without NC.

Surely now people see that everything we do revolves around NC... Players would be off too, their loyalty is to NC. The immediate future of the club would drastically change if NC goes and would probably lead to relegation as major upheavals tend to in the Prem.

Interesting allround: MP will leave if NC goes. They have a meeting today planning for next season and hope to get all signings done by July 1st so nobody needs time to adjust. Rickie has had a back injury for the last month - proof he always struggles when he has a niggle and we need some backup to be able to rest him. Good for Shaw and Clyne re England but they won't get much of a break. MP not had a day off since being here and is enjoying it - will talk more in next presser about his time here so far. Few niggles this week so maybe a chance for some U21s to feature at some point on Sunday. Aside from the NC speculation its pretty positive, bit more pressure applied now from MP to the Liebherr's.
