We play miles, miles better with Ramirez central though. I would rather he played there and De Ridder/Reeves on the left that moving Ramirez out of where he is dangerous, especially after he was class vs Everton. Then bring AL on for De Ridder after 60mins.

Agree - but compared to Forren who was an essential, these would be nice to have's IMO. -

I know what you mean but its not like De Ridder actually starts games for us. When Lallana and Mayuka are back he won't even make the bench. -

Agree- but he has scored goals in the Europa League and is still only 21 I think. Clearly has a lot of pace and there is ability there so certainly a good prospect. -
And Richardson at right back.

Wonder when the earliest is that Mayuka might be back? If Zambia lose their last group game they would probably be knocked out. -

Or that if we could bring in a special player we would, but no need to waste money for the sake of it. -
Forren had already all but signed though. No reason not to believe him.

Yep. Jelavic 7m, Fellaini 15m, Mirrallas 6m - they don't do too bad. -
Plus seeing as his name is now pronounced "Font" the quality of the song has been diminshed.

Still think Phillips would be good but he is just coming back from injury at the moment. -

Would be suprised if Ince was interested in Reading. Also that Firmino rumour started on here is online in the Mail today. -

We might just wait til the right player is available in the summer. Will be interesting to see. These big money deals take time to put together and there are 4 days left... -
Pochettino presser tomorrow ahead of Man Utd so would omagine we will get some idea if there might be any additions or not...

Two BIG exclusive interviews tomorrow

People don't like change and change is essential for progression. Luckily Cortese doesn't seem bothered about the whims of a 'funny bunch' and is just getting on with his job. Also, is there a Premier League Chairman that is almost universally popular? I cant think of any that are close, nor any I would have over Cortese to be honest. -
He is 20 and hasnt ever managed regular football for the U21 side let alone a sniff of real first team involvement on a consistent basis.

I do agree with this. Lallana coming back means its Guly from the bench I guess plus Mayuka when he is back (although he is a striker really). An attacking midfielder would be ideal, even a loan til end of season.
-
Wide player would be ideal but wouldnt be suprised if we go with what we have now. CB signing was crucial and has been achieved.

Im a positive fan but also not convinced we will add anyone else. Clearly CB was the no 1 priority which we have covered. Coutinho aside (and reports conflict as to how interested we actually were) there havent really been a whole load of links. Pochettino in his interviews has been keen to stress he will look at Academy players before bringing players in. A wide player would help but IMO is not an essential. Plus we have spent a lot this season already, and havent sold anyone for any kind of fee to recoup anything. Would be nice to be suprised but Im not expecting anything next week. -
As a Customer of Saints for 25 years, the Cortese reign has been the most enjoyable time. The product he has delivered for customers has been generally excellent.

Sunderland have had a 5m bid for Zarate turned down but are still favourites to get him. -
These 'stories' are a bit boring now.
