He is still very young but clearly has some good attributes. Hard to read anything into his performances for three reasons: 1. He is lacking game time and probably confidence this season 2. The standard of supply is so poor 3. The pitches are horrible and hard to play and good footy on.

The club probably wouldn't announce sunstantial new investment anyway.

Pilchards is ITK. He saw the training tops with Strachan's name on when we got Pardew He told us all Lallana was back for the Chelsea cup game despite needing another 4 weeks to recover from his injury. Based on Pilchards record for ITK ability I believe this 100%.

BBC Shropshire report: "AFC Telford have signed forward Richard Peniket from Premier League Fulham on a one-month loan deal." -
I noticed that. To be fair he is so out of touch its quite funny.

Zambia have their final group game vs Burkina Faso. Also in the group is Ethiopia v Nigeria. Current table is: Burkina Faso P2 GD4 P4 Nigeria P2 GD0 P2 Zambia P2 GD0 P2 Ethiopia P2 GD-4 P1 If Zambia lose they will be knocked out and a draw might not be enough assuming Nigeria don't lose to Ethiopia. Would be good for Saints to have him back as another option for Saturday. Both games are 5pm UK kick off.

He has been very average this season. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

Good move for both parties IMO. Decent player but wouldn't have been a regular at Liverpool. -

He moved to Russia on nearly 100k a week too. QPR are crazy. He is a decent CB but not outstanding. -
He became a cult hero, but not really because he was any good.

The cost needed to improve the first team goes up all the time. Whilst another attacking midfielder would be nice I agree there is no point unless they are better than what we have, hence we tried for Coutinho but unless we know someone else who is a very high level there is no point wasting money. I would be happy if we got a loan in til end of the season, especially as he says Guly might be out for a few weeks, does leave us light in that position. Aside from that position we have enough cover IMO. I see some mentions of centre mids but then that would put JWP to 5th choice and would make NC and MP's word about the academy seem very hollow.

Seems so. We are at the stage where to sign a player to improve the side does cost a fair bit, so no point getting someone unless they do improve you. -

OS quotes from Pochettino are as follows: However, Pochettino says the sidelined players won’t affect his strategy during the closing stages of the transfer window, with the deadline rapidly approaching on Thursday of this week. “We haven’t made any requests for any new players, but we’re watching the market to see if there are any developments,” he stated. “Overall we’re very happy with the squad and we have players here capable of competing at this level in the Premier League. “We’ve very happy, and if we make a signing it won’t be for the sake of a signing it will be to improve what we have already. We don’t think that we need new players unless we think they will improve us.” http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/manager-seeks-old-trafford-inspiration-624917.aspx -
Its just him happy clapping fans after a defeat - leads to fans overhyping the lad.

This. I have a list to take me up to May 21st 2019. Ones to watch: 26th October 2014 - Jactina Ela Eyene 4th March 2016 - Lee Todd 10th November 2017 - Marco Almeida Besides - they usually generate some good chat and get plenty of replies.

For me he was a decent player who did a good job for us and seems a genuinely nice lad. Would have done a great job in L1 for us but IMO wouldn't have been a first choice starter last season with the midfield we had and wouldnt make our match day squad now - similar scenario to the likes of Chaplow. Always felt he lacked pace to play out wide, and a bit of strength and off the ball aggression to play centre mid - still not sure he has ever nailed down a first choice position. Will have a good career though - and will probably leave Norwich in the summer.

Yes, and have a decent squad. Good addition of Forren means we have a decent depth in most areas, although a wide player would have been nice. -

Yes - we could get relegated if key players get bad injuries. I agree another wide player would be good, but otherwise our squad is fine without getting silly with it. -

Injuries have the potential to ruin any teams season. You could sign loads and have a first team squad of 35 and might just combat it. Reality is that any team would struggle to fill the spot if two players who play the same position were ruled out for any length of time.
