The Norweigan Journalist who has been with him in Soton this week just told me he expects him to sign, but maybe not until tomorrow. He is unsure why there is a hold up.
-
To be fair he has been there at least 3 times since we were linked with Astori. he also represents a couple of Milan players. Seems that Forren is instead of him though.

You can always rely on Allardyce to be creative with signings. Always looking for fresh talent.

Sunderland are not very likely to go down. Wigan are quite possibly going to go down. I would rather keep Wigan below us that worry about being ahead of Sunderland. As Digsy says - if we happen to overtake them then great - but we have to want all the team currently below us to get as few points as possible - that way they cannot overtake us.

Somebody teach Davie the art of quoting on the SWF. He is profficient with his bolds, italics and underlines but not so hot on the quoting.
-
Would rather Sunderland beat Wigan personally.

Shaw will be in the U21s.

Have the media team had lunch yet?
-
Friday lunchtime probably. Remember though that Forren hasn't played a match since December 6th or thereabouts. I could see him being on the bench then getting a full week of training and coming in for the Utd game.

Yes.

The January 2013 HCDAJFU thread...
Saint Charlie replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Maybe, I will ask him. EDIT: He still says it was Agyemang. Maybe true if it was 2008. He has pace but little else so would be very suprised. -

Patrick Agymang linked according to a guy at work - imagine he is winding me up. -
From December: The Manchester Evening News says Forren has shown up on United’s radar as the 24-year-old’s form alerts the Premier League. Forren has forged a partnership with Fulham’s Brede Hangeland at the centre of Norway’s defence in 2012 and has helped Molde to back-to-back Tippeligaen triumphs in Solskjaer’s tenure as manager. Everton sent a four-strong delegation headed by boss David Moyes to watch Forren last month for club and country. But the Reds have been monitoring Forren before Norway’s winter break and there is almost certain to have been communication between Fergie and his former striker. “We haven’t received any offer for Vegard. But there are many who have enquired about Vegard. I am expecting that we might receive an offer in January,” said Solskjaer to the Manchester Evening News. “Yes, he could play for Manchester United but I don’t have to tell him that. At his best, he is a very good footballer.”

I really rated him. A bit Lallana like actually, great feet and played well between the lines. Scored one absolute cracker at SMS running from the halfway line.

Your most unexpected event of this season, so far?

Also unexpected for me is how quickly a minority of fans lost faith in NA. -

Puncheon has been DC. -
Best result of the season gained by dropping AL, Lambrrt and Ramirez. Would be a shame to see them all start vs Everton.

Atkins isnt even a Saints employee you Gooser.

NA couldnt always say 'Wait til x is announced' and then in the next breath say 'done deal'.
-
Who would you have on performances this season - Adam Johnson (12m) or Punch? Easy really, Punch has been one of our top 3 this year.
-
Anyone remember the thread that wally started saying he was our worst ever signing? Not suprised that guy doesnt post here anymore. Morgan is class.

Going for JR's energy and 5 across midfield then seeing if we are in the game with 60 gone. Chelsea's front 6 is ridiculous.
