Norwich only have 1 point from 5 games and on paper a side that isnt packed full of quality. -

We have played the teams below us 6 times and won 5 lost 1. Good record that is keeping us out the bottom 3 at the moment. I believe there are at least 3 worse teams than us but the points are what counts so need to keep picking them up - point a game average from here should do it. -

Of the teams below us we have played them 6 times - Won 5 (Villa x 2, QPR, Newcastle, Reading) and lost 1 (Wigan). Shows IMO that we are not one of the worst 3 teams and that we deal well with the pressure of a big game...usually. -
Shame the typical hard British players with his kind of ability would cost uowards of 30m!

Do we need a thread like this every time he doesn't have a great game? He is 22 and adapting to a new style of football. Has been inconsistent at times but the key is does he have the ability of a £12m player? The answer is yes. All his poorer games have come out wide and his best ones playing off a central striker. I would much rather have him than play against him, at home he is a joy to watch.

Tancredi Palmeri saying: For all those asking, no update re Astori to Southampton, for sure Cagliari standing by for a Milan move

But this Fernandez dude have you not seen him? Ive not heard of him but must be decent to get a look in for Uruguay and we were very light on attacking options from the bench today. Depends what type of forward he is really.
-
Is he bad? Ive not heard of him before.

Everyone up to 11th are potentially catchable IMO. -
NA did say the knee had a bang and they would have to assess correctly. However, he did leave the ground without crutches which is obviously good. Possibly worth giving him a rest vs Chelsea anyway, don't want to burn him out.

Good win Bazza, you must be buzzing! Treat the Missus tonight!

Know what you mean but for me SDR is just a liability and I don't think NA trusts him. He makes poor decisions and isn't reliable in those type of scenarios. IMO NA made the right subs with what was available to him. If he had some better forward options of the bench he might have gone differently but we are down to the bare bones! -
Adkins: 'Knee injury' Clear enough?

Richardson is nowhere near the quality needed and certainly not worth messing with Clyne to accommodate in the team. If Fox has to play the odd game it's no disaster. He isn't as good as Shaw but could slot in. The defence as a whole is better and calmer and more protected now.

Have to be pleased overall with how we have done against other teams at the bottom. Beaten 4 of the 5 below us...including double over Villa. -

Massive win, good stuff from Boruc too. Hope Shaw is ok.... Chelsea is a bonus and goal diff preservation but now is the time to do some transfer business before Everton which is winnable. -
Reading 3-2

Reading 2-2

Hmmm hope Shaw is ok

Get Seaborne on haha.

Reading 2-1

Maybe if we had a couple of better attacking options on the bench we might have gone the other way but De Ridder and Lee aren't up to it. Need some January business.
-
So we are definitely trying to shut up shop rather than go for a second then....
-
Is it Fox or Shaw at LB now?

Wigan level with Fulham - wouldn't be terrible IF we hang on.
