NA said on Solent after the game that he is on loan there til the end of the season and we will look at it then. He said Sharp is a good player and its good he is scoring goals but that he probably wouldnt have had enough game time here. He has obviously seen him at very close quarters in training etc and from this interview it was pretty clear Sharp won't be back this season. Its easy to be sentimental but as a couple have said his first touch and awareness and allround game isnt good enough for the league we are in.

Cant see anywhere I said he was gash, infact you will see I said he is a good player, just not good enough for the Prem, nothing wrong with that, its an opinion I have, which NA and numerous other Prem managers must also think.

Sharp isn't good enough for the Prem, wouldnt suit the one up one behind system and would be 4 players ahead of him. Good player yes, but you have to put sentiments behind. When we got him any Prem team could have taken him if they wanted to.

Like Hammond, Chaplow, Butterfield? He isnt up to he Premier League. We got him to help with goals to get us there after first choice Hooper wouldn't work. Lee was keeping him out the side til he got injured and as a lone frontman wouldnt work at all. Tough but correct decision from NA.

Sharp not good enough allround game for the Prem. Not quick or fit enough and doesn't contribute assists. Good at Champ level obviously but people surely only want him back because he is a nice bloke.

Just saying what I think will happen. NA loves Gazza. He is young and has potential, certainly would prefer him to Bart, even if just for his kicking which is superb.

We already brought two in this season, Boruc as short term, Gazza long term. First game next season Gazza will be no 1 whatever league we are in.
