Lennon saying he isnt for sale but then also says the valuations are far apart which suggests they have named a price they find acceptable. Surely we wouldnt bid if we thought Hooper had no desire whatsoever to move here so I think this will go long into the window and if we offer enough - crazy money - then it could happen. As Adkins has hinted, given our positon it is worth spending to try and get back to the Prem, I think 6-7m for Hooper would be worth it, he is a proven goalscorer.

At 23 is a perfect age and has sell on value.

He did very well in the Champ and has also got goals in Europe.

Yes he is on loan at Spurs so surely thats not allowed by Fifa. Good player but just a silly rumour unless Spurs sign him permanently and then loan him. You can't loan out a loan player!

Hooper is a level above Sharp so Im happy if we are looking at players like that instead.

Hooper is better than Sharp or Maynard so good that we are targetting that sort of quality. Just got to seal one now, thats the hard bit!
