Not true. It was reported that Pinnacle entered an exclusivity period but that it could easily have been the Swiss bid as they were also very close. The two bids very certainly around at the time of exclusivity and Fry chose the Pinnacle bid. The Swiss bid maybe have been slightly later on the scene but it was around before the exclusivity period was agreed. SSN actually said they were the front runners before Pinnacle entered exclusivity. It doesn't matter a whole load but Fry knew of the two bids and preferred, for whatever reason, the Pinnacle bid. As an aside, what would a Swiss pharmacutical company want with a football club? They aren't football people afterall, and maybe its not in the best interests of the club... Lets hope pinnacle seal this early this week.

Remeber Fry initially chose Pinnacle over the Swiss bid. If Pinnacles was rubbish or the Swiss one was thats great then I doubt he would have done....

The guy has said all the right things on Sky. Hopefully they can close the deal because it seems like they are actually bothered on the football.....

Give the guy a break. If they have the money to make a difference then good on them. By getting MLT involved they have already made one brilliant decision.

Thats how it will be sorted, its just bartering of a kind, each side wanting the best deal. If Pinnacle rushed in and signed things people would blame them for being too hasty. I have every confidence they will seal it once they are happier with the terms, which may be very soon...

TL is just exploring all avenues open to him to get the best deal for his group+the club. He is clearly edging closer to a compromise with the Fl+things are ongoing. TL has said he 'will takeover the club' and the way in which he has conducted himself thus far leads me to trust him.

And he has now said this a few times. Pinnacle have surely planned or this, or at least thought about it and will surely now press ahead with the deal. They could even take up the whole appeal thing later on. After all the work they have put in, this will surely not put them off. And by all accounts everything else is ready to go....

This doesn't really add anything though does it? Pinnacle are considering their position and Fry is saying the FL have been a joke. Surely after thinking about it Pinnacle will just press ahead without the appeal? (Afterall its only 10points)

Have faith, Pinnacle and Tony Lynam have put a lot of work in and they aren't stupid. They wouldnt have paid a significant deposit if they hadn't considered that this might happen. Tony said himself "We will buy this club", so lets trust him. He just wants the best deal possible as anyone would in his situation.
