Im not worked up about him. Just saying he has a decent record and is worth a gamble for someone. If that someone is Saints then I think he could do a decent job based on what we know about him.

Thats fair enough, the bigger the gamble the bigger the loss, but sometimes the bigger the gain. As long as we get someone here for the long term, thats the main thing whoever it is.

He did well but couldnt really cut it higher up. But that doesnt mean Tisdale would be the same. You have to give people a chance. Look at Darren Ferguson. At the end of the day you have a thing about Tisdale, but I like plenty wouldnt mind him being given the job. He will get a chance somehwere, and he deserves it because of what he has done so far. Whther he can achieve more remains to be seen but IMO he is worth a gamble. Good luck to an ex Saint, wherever he ends up.

So why did he have talks with Reading and turn down Swansea? Did he play for them? The guy is a manager on the up who knows how to get out of a division. Would far rather him than someone like Steve Cotteril for example who has basically done nothing. Someone will take a gamble on Tisdale and get potentially a bloody good Manager.....

Tisdale has won successive promotions therefore he is rubbish. HTH

Totally agree. Never done anything of note.

Hoddle would be good. He could work wonders with some of our young players and is a great coach. Would have been very successful with England were it not for the issues, that were nothing to do with football, tripping him up.
