  1. Something to do with BST I think. The fixtures after October have the correct times.
  2. That'll do, but the times say 4pm til 6pm. Bit odd. Here's the server link you need webcal://www1.skysports.com/calendars/football/fixtures/teams/southampton
  3. Pretty easy to set up. I might have a crack at it later.
  4. No, you're right, he didn't, but then Lallana had been installed as captain and perhaps MP didn't want to change that coming in when he did, but after the season Morgan had and the example he sets, I think he has the credentials for a captain. Plus, I think he'll be a regular starter. I also think Rickie has the credentials of a leader. He has the respect of the players and the passion and intelligence to read the game. Whatever, it shouldn't be Lallana.
  5. I'm afraid I know nothing about banega or wanyama. Seen a short video of banega but nothing of wanyama. From the comments from those who have seen them, it sounds like they're exactly what we need although different to each other. What EPL players can they be compared to? I know wanyama has been likened to Toure or viera. Any others? And banega? Who could he be compared to?
  6. Lambert. Or Morgan if Rickie doesn't play. Bloody obvious IMO.
  7. Who says we can't have both?
  8. 16/1 for top 6 aint bad I guess.
  9. Is Nicola playing RB now?
  10. To the tune of the dayo song. I don't know what its called. You know the one....daylight come and I want to go home. Dejan, deyan. Dejan Lovren, he's unbeatable. Edit. Pronounced Dayan Lorvren (the v is so soft its like lorren) http://www.pronounceitright.com/pronounce/5230/dejan-lovren
  11. Excellent. I hope he's good at getting the ball rolling.
  12. Hoskins will be lighting up the Championship next season.
  13. Well, the kit one day, signings the next.
  14. I suspect there'll be no signings announced before the end of June, then they'll reveal 2 or 3, maybe 4 signings along with the kit launch. That's if they can keep everything quiet until then.
  15. JWP is plenty good enough for a championship side. I'd say he's as good a prospect as Shaw, it s just that Shaw only Fox ahead of him. Midfield is a bit tougher to nail down a spot as it needs a little experience. I may be proved wrong but I think he'll be a great player for us.
  16. I think he's a great talent and it looks like he has a great attitude too. I actually liken him to Paul Scholes when he first started out; tidy on the ball, not scared to get stuck in, and plays it simple. A great prospect. If Cork, or Davis or whoever couldn't play, I'd be more than happy for him to come in.
  17. We proved last season that we're good enough to compete with the top 4. However, we also showed that we're not good enough to consistently beat those in the bottom half. Change that and we'll be some way towards that dream.
  18. Your distasteful attempt at humour did not pass me by.
  19. West Ham - Home
  20. Well, I suppose if he's that good! I was just looking at his age and thinking it's a lot of money for a short term return, but if that return resulted in a top 6 finish then it might be worth it in the long run cos it makes us more attractive for the players that we're looking for to make that top 4 push. Add to that that we seem to have been linked with a few older players, this might actually be a tactic the club are looking at; buy older, experienced players of top quality that could potentially turn us into a top 6 side this coming season. It's a lot of money with little or no resale value, but, it may be seen as a ticket into the top 6, and if so, it may reap it's rewards the season after. So, yeah, I take your point.
  21. 15m for a 30yr old? No thanks.
  22. I think its Astori. Just because of all the rumours about him going way back; the Astori dvd etc. I reckon its him.
  23. Ah. A question instead of accusations of racism. That's better. I never liked the guy. Thought he was overrated. I remember him for not stepping up to take penalties for England. He bled during a football match. So what, big deal. Haven't we all? I've bled watching FFS! I also think he has a big ego and would probably think his Son is better than little old Southampton. All imo of course. Whatever, we all have our own opinions, but please, your accusation was uncalled for.
  24. The problem with Ince is his father Paul.
