I'm so glad that we don't need to sell players now, cos players like Shaw and JWP would be off to any of the top 4 clubs, they're that good. JWP the perfect Scholes/Carrick replacement. Anyway, we don't need to sell so....
-
Yep. They won't listen.
-
I said he was scholes like in another thread and he's younger than scholes was when he made Man U debut. He's one of those under the radar type players. Quietly brilliant.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland
Webby replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Need a proper winger to replace jrod or just play osvaldo in his place. -
MP: don't shoot or head it straight at the keeper.
-
Must not lose this....
-
Go on MP, get stuck into 'em!
-
FFS Fonte! How many 30 yarders have you scored?
-
MP will go ballistic at our passing at HT
-
That is a fantastic ball in from JWP

Does this rule out singing songs based on the "go west" song, possibly the gayest song there is?

Like "you're particularly good in the kitchen and know how to make a risotto"?
-
really? The ones I've seen do it do not adhere to those guidelines. I've seen it done in traffic moving at 40 to 50 mph.
-
Not sure how our pressing game tires out the opposition. Would have thought we'd be the tired ones. Dare I say James Milner would suit the pressing style better? Works his socks off.

Cyclists riding side by side instead of single file, chatting to each other without a care in the world for the trouble they're causing. Also, motorcyclists riding up the middle of the road (the dotted line bit) inbetween traffic. People on supermarket checkouts that ask questions about your day. They're already monitoring what I'm buying ffs, now they wanna know about my day. Don't ask mate, do your job, as quickly and efficiently as you can so I can gtf out of this hellhole. Dog owners who say, when their dog comes bounding up to my 3 yr old, "oh he won't hurt you". Yeah? Can you know that, for sure? Besides, I don't want your dog's filthy paws all over my kid. Have a bit of respect for other people.

Yeah, pace and power are all well and good but, as David beckham proved, you don't have to beat your man to get in a cross.

I'm not convinced by Moses. Chelsea would want to recoup what they paid for him (around 9m), and his goals and assists stats aren't great, 10 and 4 last season in all competitions, mostly in the CC. Only 6 and 1 the season before that. Pace and power, little end product.

I understand what you're saying but he is a left back remember. If he was a cm, am, or cb would he have played as many games as he has?
-
I agree. Unfortunately for him, the midfield has much more competition for places. I rate him very highly. He does the simple things very well, in other words winning the ball, keeping the ball and passing it to a team mate. Scholes-esque you might say.

I'm not the sort to dislike players (I do make an exception for Fox though). With Gaston I so want him to do well when he plays and I'm always disappointed. Perhaps I'm expecting too much. I think he's had long enough to settle into the squad, the league, and the country now that reasons for below par performances are running out. Yes, he's had flashes of good play and he's obviously a talented player but I, along with a lot of fans, am running out of patience. I would imagine the coaching staff are too. Anyway, I digress. Back to sinclair, or banega, or whoever.
-
Well I guess that you've made an educated guess with Darida, which is no different to their guess that it's cvijanovic.
-
Think we'd only sign Banega if Gaston was to leave.
-
I think evra would still be first choice there. Still a class player. Don't know how old he is though. Luke and Callum could save us a fortune just by staying. We'd need to spend big to get the same quality.

I'd love to hear a bit more rock and roll coming from the terraces. We know that he likes Pink Floyd but I find their tunes aren't so chant-worthy. He also likes The Rolling Stones and I've had a couple of ideas based on their songs. To the tune of Miss You: Na na na na, nananah, Na na na na, nananah, Osvaldo! and repeat. And (my favourite) to the tune of It's Only Rock and Roll: [video=youtube_share;JGaBlygm0UY] I know, Osvaldo scored a goal, and I like it! and repeat.
