This is what I've heard. Their scouts sniff around and take any promising kids up to stamford bridge for a tour. Seems a bit underhand to me; turning them into chelsea fans if not players.

Is there a Chelsea academy in Southampton? I've heard that there is but don't know how reliable that was.

Before, it wasn't a case of a rusty Cork vs a match fit Wanyama. Wanyama was injured so had to be replaced, but this time Cork has been playing well. Why replace him with a rusty Wanyama? Give Wanyama 20 mins here and there to ease him back in.

We've probably saved over 100k a week getting rid of these guys, and then some for osvaldo. I'd rather we pay that to someone who's gonna play and make a difference. Some scoff at high wages but when you look at what we've been paying to players that don't play, and were never likely to since reaching the prem, theres more money wasted there than on one player that will play.

I said a while back that chambers is arguably better than shaw at the moment (this was maybe a month or so ago), certainly more consistent. Amazes me that he's kinda gone under the radar a bit.

I just hope that MP can get over his loyalty to NC and find a good relationship with the new CEO. He should realise that, not only is KL owner of the club and paying his wages, but that even if NC was still here, a bad start to next season and NC would have no doubts about replacing him!
