  1. Bravo. That's my opinion too. We're so lucky to have him.
  2. Love the way Bruce got Hull to push forward and press our defence…then Lovren played it along the deck to Lambert who turned, played in Lallana…penalty. Brilliant!
  3. So did Fulham
  4. Totally agree with the OP.
  5. Oooh, I got one player wrong in the 11. Reed instead of JWP.
  6. My post was a response to someone saying that the sunderland game is more important than the Hull game. I disagree. I think every game is important, but I'd rather carry on getting good results in the league. However, I think we'll rest some players on weds but, hopefully, whoever plays, we'll get the result we want.
  7. If beating Sunderland means losing to Hull at home, well, I'd rather beat Hull. But, I think we'll put out a decent side, a mixture of 1st teamers and squad players. Something like; Davis Chambers, Yoshida, Jos, Fox Cork, JWP Lee, Davis, Ramirez Rodriguez Bench: Gazza, Lambert, Lallana, Isgrove, Rowe, Fonte, Reed. Edit: fwiw, I don't think Sunderland will be full strength. Poyet will want to utilise squad players to see what they can do. Plus they have a big game on Sunday.
  8. Anyone got the Sopcast link?
  9. Seen a few predictions for an end to our great run today, but to be honest, I thought that for the Fulham game. That was typically the kind of opposition we'd mess up against after a fine run of results, and we stuffed them out of sight. This Stoke game is one that we'd usually not hope to get anything from, perhaps a draw, which I'd be happy with, but if we show our class I think we can win it, and that will really show how far we've come. I know we won at liverpool but you know, there's always a chance that we could grab a win like that, but Stoke is the kind of side we don't do well against. Fingers crossed for a win! COYS!
  10. Scott says to me 'mark lambert'. Well, that confused me. I thought it was Rickie Lambert. Parker's an idiot lolz!
  11. Wanyama's given the ball away 3 times in 5 mins.
  12. I wish someone could stop wanyama from passing. /joke
  13. Lovely little pass into Lallana for the goal.
  14. Fox got done on the knee by Dyer I think. Looked nasty but he played on. May not come out for 2nd half.
  15. Lallana has been brilliant.
  16. I don't think I've ever seen wanyama sprint!
  17. Horns. Probably. Maybe not. Tbh there's only 3 pubs in nursling isn't there? Horns, 4 horse shoes and......ok two.
  18. I'd love it if in the event we sold him (and I'd rather we didn't) that Targett turns out to be as good as Shaw!

    Top Four

Top 4? No chance. Not to be pessimistic but I'd be amazed if we're 4th after another 6 games. However, being in this position gives us great confidence and belief, and with that (hopefully) comes better and better performances. We're showing signs of being a very good side cos like the best sides, we are getting points when not playing at our best and that is mostly down to the new found resilience of the back 5. OK, we're not scoring many, but if you keep a clean sheet then you only need to score 1, and while you do keep a clean sheet, you'll never lose. When we start finding the net more regularly we'll be a real force. Maybe not top 4, but top 7/8.
  20. Indeed. More to come.
  21. Phew!
  22. Perhaps there should be a campaign that the church could support.
  23. Chalobah and McEachran apparently allowed out on loan from Chelsea. Both midfielders though.

    Gaston Watch

I haven't seen any signs yet that he will. He does not play at the pace required in the PL. He gets the ball in 5 yards of space and just doesn't move quickly enough. Does he think he has a 5 yard exclusion zone around him? He might get time on the ball like that in Italy but not in the PL. He ought to know that by now.

    Victor Moses

So if not Moses, then who?
