The universe, and it's creation did not occur to impress anyone. It is not here for us to figure it out. We are just a tiny byproduct of the universe. All of it would still be here without us. That kinda blows my mind a little. That something so complex and massive exists beyond understanding. Oh look, I can't even explain it. Btw, no God, or divine creator, if you like.

I think we're only 4 or 5 players away from a top 8 side, so europe in 2 seasons is quite possible.

Like Fox?
-
Is that true? If so, a) he shouldn't have gone and b) isn't that akin to tapping him up?

Bike sheds?

Negative post: Lallana needs to seriously improve if he wants to keep his place next season. And get some bloody shooting boots! Give the captaincy to someone else too.

Dull game. Typical I guess of an end of season game that really didn't mean all that much. Thought everyone looked jaded to be honest. Except Clyne and Cork.
-
They copied us didn't they?
-
Ah, no need to apologise, yes?

NNTA is an acronym I've not come across before.

Oh, sorry.

Another Black and Gold Adidas kit: And a white and gold, with sash: I know these are older templates but interesting to see the gold decal. I quite like the Swansea/Real Madrid kits.
-
The current Swansea kit is white and gold so maybe our away will just be a black version of that? Plus it also looks like it has seams that go all the way down on each side, curving round to the front.
-
Well done. Excellent mock ups. I'd take those. A decent compromise on the all red look. Be interesting to see the underarm white bits go all the way down though.
-
Now THAT looks like a bog standard training kit. Rubbish.

Terry Paine joins in: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/10425977.Saints_legend_Paine__We_could_finish_top_four_next_season/?ref=twt&utm_content=Southampton,+Saints Basically, a 'back Cortese' piece. "Paine, who stated his view that it is important chairman Nicola Cortese remains at the club this summer"

Perhaps if the Leibherr's had been more involved this wouldn't have happened. NC has sold the vision of the club as his vision now, originally ML's vision along with NC. Since ML's passing, the owners have been some kind of faceless entity. So it's understandable for employees to consider their future if the owners and/or chairman were to change if it meant that the vision and future of the club would change. If you'd taken something so far on your own with owners happy for you to do so, you too would have to think about your position if those owners now wanted to step in and get more involved, despite their right to do so.

Together as one.

My point above is that despite the truth, this is what most managers say, if they say anything at all. It's very unusual to say that your allegiance is with the chairman. It's almost as if it's a declaration of support for NC, which, of course, it is. It would be normal to praise your chairman at any other time but, with the current situation, it carries more meaning.

Nope!

Alan Ball.

Indeed. It's another bargaining chip for Cortese. I'm all for it btw but it's not very subtle.
-
That's a shame. Shows its just a job to him. He's working for the man who appointed him, nothing more. Hasn't fallen in love with the club I guess.
-
2.5m for this guy. Does this mean we're cooling on the 10m Astori deal? And is this a consequence of the Cortese contract talks? Edit: I know cost does not equate to quality btw.

Perhaps this is the storm in a teacup before the tempest of the new kit launch?
