ideal time for me to send you a challenge
-
if your still in the cup then you wont be able to.
-
Pardews comments in the FA Cup programme about leeds pretty much sum this up for me, they've got a much stronger squad as they have had more time to build it and have a midfield good enough to make an average CCC striker in Beckford look excellent.

my 3 youth team gems quite happy with the first one

What news on ticket sales for the Luton match
ribbo replied to brianoneils slidingtackle's topic in The Saints
picked up 5 tickets just before 4 today from the ticket office, seated block 39, phones open tomorrow i believe. -
he played excellent with murty behind him, i love his attitude, he gets moved around all over the time, is not a natural right back, other teams play to this weakness and yet he doesnt complain, the sign of a very good pro in the making.
-
wow they have, tough blow, hopefully it can throw another option in, however im sure Pardew has suitable candidates lined up in a similar mould as Trottman. i'd love to see Jack Cork back at the club in some capacity, very versatile and i reckon pardew could get him to play very well.
-
you sure? he's been earning rave reviews for torquay, rave reviews playing for T+T and is still very young... he could well return and suprise Pardew.
-
im fully ITK about this... i read Kelvs article in the program mentioning all this.
-
silly idea, moneyfields or H+W easily.
-
yeah, it's a pyramid and odd theres only 1 team above V out of all of us.... slowly we'll take over the world.
-
if you've got a weak trainer then get a passable or solid trainer asap, your players will improve a lot faster (especially the younguns) however if you have fairly established teams in your division you'll fill out your stadium everytime you play them at home, I got a trainer first and then used every 50-60k gate to upgrade the stadium.

25k mentioned on Radio Solent at the weekend.
-
wow, you make a really good post and then ruin it with that comment, i think rage were chosen because they are possibly the furthest point away from production line yank-jock-rock-dross.

no one will do a decent job at liverpool unless they get rid of the debt from the club. imo a lot of english coaches would do well to adopt the career path Roy has taken and Steve Maclaren is on now.

They should enforce a full payments only transfer system with an optional future%transfer clause to stop this staggered payments nonsense that's a large part of this mess and help the smaller clubs further down the pyramid, they should also limit squad sizes (with an increased squad size for teams in european competition) to stop top clubs hoarding talent. 2 simple steps to draw back inline the money madness that we've seen in recent years, yes it may damage the EPL brand and mean we cant get the best talent in europe but it would stop clubs gambling on future success to save a managers or chairmans arse.

if you've got a player with good winger skills and defending skills he can play well as a fullback if you've got a crap young winger who has some defending skills then training defending will quickly boost him upto a semi decent VII fullback if you play him all the time. that sites useful for comparing teams, looking at previous games to see how opponents play and work out from the values how strong they're midfield is when playing, also looking at players histories to see where they play strongest, highest rating, how many seasons they've been playing and all sorts of other **** like loddar stats i dont understand.

highlights up on the bbc page now http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/default.stm loved the bit 40seconds in, shame he missed no sign of the mini pitch invader!

you get 60k or 100k i think depending on 1st/2nd, your Jay Guest looks the business, i made a group on alltid that has most of the teams in this thread listed, im 2 seasons in and your already beating me on progress http://alltid.org/group/34178/

it's not difficult really once you get used to it a little, it's free but you can pay £3 a month for some extras, but you can play fine free (change formations + tactics etc).. It's also an excellent slow burner, if you wish you can set games up a couple of weeks in advance, you dont have to log on every day etc.

i'd rather not have the army go on strike tbh...

Stuck my kids out for Boca Ribbo's last game against the bottom bot side and won 3-0 with 3 of my 18year old def's getting on the score sheet! finished 5th in the end, happy days! Promoted 3 kids in the last 3 weeks, 2 passable defs who both have a speciality and 1 inadequate winger, they are the best of the none scouted players in my YA, hopefully next season a lot of the Solid YA players i have will come through and be worth a lot more. the advice given on this thread about playing 5 in midfield paid off for me, any suggestions for next season? should i work on the stadium get it over 20/30k? get a better trainer (mines passable with not so good experience/leadership cost me 100,000+ at the start of the season) or buy in as many "excellent" players as possible
