  1. no because i very much doubt he has a professional contract.
  2. if they were allowed to create threads outside the saints forum then that would build community, but then that would only be ruined by the lack of moderation allowing paid up users to rip into eachother. http://www.footballforums.net/forums/ is the best upcoming football forum site on the web imo, it's not club specific and you've got to be very well behaved but it's loads better than here.
  3. thats not a bad write up to be fair, i'll add a couple of points though, Barnard was being held and fouled all over the shop and still he didnt give up, we could have had a couple of pens and how many handballs did the ref miss?! Morgan was outstanding, the posession in the second half was great to see again and the reason i think harding didnt have a good time was purely that he finds it ****ing hard to play on the same flank as puncheon. dickson + holmes although lacking match sharpness played very well and you could see that holmes would drop inside when dickson wanted to overlap, a whole week of training ground work ahead now before next saturday, NA should have time to improve the lads.
  4. not as bad as the SWF one.
  5. I predict more threads on this.
  6. seriously, everyone should read the post above before reading 90% of the guff on this forum... this is how it is at saints, it's not new in england but it's bloody hard to get the institutionalized opinions of fans and football men to understand that this is the model most of the european football industry has been trying to move to. The reason this model is becoming popular with chairman is because of it creates continuation of an ethos and not just a "manager" who is at a club only up until the point he wants to goto a bigger club or gets bored and leave.... believe it or not as far as technical directors go, LR has a pretty ****ing good cv.

im 100% def trainer with my team, does me an alright income, i tend to sell mine @ outstanding or formidable if they're 19-21 i then buy in my other positions (seeing as the games littered with high PM-Pass players )
  8. [removed by admin - libel] there you go.
  9. genuine yes, out of context? maybe, for example you do not know if it was agreed before hand that prado would get a longer runout and we dont really know whats happened yet, only that there was some kind of staplewood shenanigans. so not going all pro cortese here (more pro club tbh) but his history is not only in banking but the following (stole from wiki sorry) : ten years in sports business practice as head of the sports and entertainment desk at various Swiss banks, providing global services to sports and entertainment professionals. executive at Banque Heritage in Geneva where he managed the finances of billionaires. ran the sports business desk for Credit Suisse. they're not bad svengali like credentials for a person who has spent a long old time in and around the workings of some of the worlds biggest clubs, certanly better than someone who made a living sticking up retirement homes.
  10. ah i was waiting for the south coast teams most vitriolic critic.
  11. You should probably read (no pun intended) into Les Reed before pouring scorn on his track record. He was only Assistant Manager at Charlton to Dowie before that he was technical director at the FA (following Howard Wilkinson + proceeding Trevor Brooking) his work since Charlton means that for the position he is employed at Saints there are not many better qualified in England or Europe to do a technical directors role.
  12. yes but i signed up in 2006, your late.

  14. Tom Craddock expected to exit luton soon : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/luton_town/8924653.stm
  15. is she living in her attic? do you think she has a cheapo loft ladder?
  16. wasn't exeter the boxing day game? leeds were arguably the biggest team in the division last year and MKDons presented us with a chance to goto wembley we had 21k home to Orient towards the end of last season on a monday night followed up by a 23k attendance to Charlton on the following Saturday, buoyed most likely by the fact that the Orient game last season was our first homegame after JPT. I think we'll get a good walkup on saturday and Orient might bring a few down as well, hopefully 25k! cant wait. WIFM
  17. Jaidi's about 80 and cant handle two games in a week, good that we have seabourne + martin around who can learn off Jaidi and Fonté (and lets face it, Fonté is stupidly good at this level) Martin played well second half, him and dickson just had self enduced nightmares in the first half.
  18. great interview.
  19. It seems Rickie is probably going to be out for tomorrow's match v Plymouth, but he's hoping to be back for Bournemouth on Tuesday. 7 minutes ago via web from the guy who is interviewing him from 442 http://twitter.com/JamesMawFFT
  20. i'd love to sit alps and a pardew in a room together, either alps would come out hopeful and enlightened making this forum a better place or Pardew would come out on the phone to the samaritans.

unlucky mate, you'll walk league VI next season
  23. As long as the team we have currently have a much better pre-season than we did last year then i'm not worried at all. Any signings or loans will be able to slot in a lot easier this season I reckon and we could loan or single season contract in players to fill the positions if the plan is for us to go up because if we do go up we wont have to shed as many players as say we have had to this season. Theres still plenty of time left in the Transfer window left.
  24. it's not in clubs best interests to advertise that it's not a full strength team as it could affect turnout.
  25. Tom Dunford had offers at two league 1 teams but has taken up a place at an American College program He turned down Yeovil as they're not big enough according to a couple of Islanders in the know
