Hear me out i have just had a beer and had a crazy thought. What if the club keep selles ? He came in and tried to implement a style that had worked previously rather than his own style as we didnt have time and correctly identified we cant defend being the biggest issue but couldnt stop the flood. What if the club get rid of all the players he wants and buys players to suit his system he wants to implement. He has a full pre-season with those players, club loves managers who've lost, he gets more experience in the championship away from the bright lights. I think i would back him initially if that happened, no one is a guarantee in the championship so maybe the better the devil you know (intially)

Interestingly enough he is playing on the right wing for bestikas and playing well, maybe we messed up by thinking he was a left winger the entire time he was here

He's just turned 20 in his 1st ever premier league season in a shit side and looks the best player in most of the games and you want to blame him. The bloke does more mopping up than Katie Price's boyfriends, he's always receiving the ball on the half turn and releasing it. Do you think the bigger attraction despite being in the championship is that we afford the manager to re-build the side in his image with a potentially a lot of money to spend. Not too many clubs clean out majority of the squad and can start from scratch - reminds me when palace let everyone go on free's and rebuilt. Thats gotta be quite sexy for a manager, that alone i could see potter going for it and as others have said being in the championship holds no fears for him and god even Benetiz and Biesla managed there, am sure he can as well.

2 major issues that they didnt get right. Striker - they explained the reasons in the summer - we were going for world class and missed - i can accept that and I can also accept in Jan its not a buyers market so we were screwed just trying to get any striker in. Manager - Was obvs from the end of last season, new direction was needed - this is the major factor and then led to the chuckle brothers following ralph - this is on sports republic.
