  1. Nolan your the MVP this week for informative facts and info. Keep posting
  2. Thanks for the link very interesting, theyve made a decent effort with the analysis.
  3. I think its already been confirmed Juan is back to Gozteppe next season if you want to update the list
  4. I like this pivot from the liverpool transfer window to the ipswich transfer policy
  5. Good post I think a lot of managers are dogmatic to a system, something they feel comfortable with rather than looking at he next match and trying to work out how to win.
  6. Just saw this banter, James Madison showing off his shirt collection in his house and I spotted Jack Stephens one there 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  7. He's not talking club size he's talking about the football quality. Those teams you mentioned go from no.1 to no.14 in the table this year so i think the quality of mid championship is probably fair.
  8. Sounds like Saintsforever website
  9. This is the dedication i like
  10. When you build your car sometimes you need to have the wheels attached before you get the steering wheel. Honestly I would have Jan, Stephens, THB, ABK, Wood as leavers so would like to see them start leaving to make it more attractive to the defensive leader types you mention. With this signing here we are seeing the inside knowledge of Spors/Leder about Hoffenheim players and this being a quick low hanging fruit high potential player who has played a decent amount of matches in the bundesliga 2, so not a total novice for a cheap price and can compete for a place straightaway. Thinking about CBs and how Still likes 1 of them to press into midfield to disrupt/win balls etc i wonder if that is a role Edwards can do (QPR young player of the year in half a season) given he played there a few times for QPR and was excellent in their match v Leeds, he obviously can play in that congestion.
  11. He's 6ft 5 he must be starving all the time
  12. wheels as well, i love it
  13. I expect Spors to move at speeds we have never seen before from our club or sporting director, he has a lot of work to do. Out just as much as in. There will be only 1 person cooking this summer and it will be Spors
  14. 6f 5in, can play with both feet Strengths: Doesnt Read Saintweb Physical Attributes: He's tall and strong, making him a threat in the air and a tough opponent in the tackle. Versatile: Able to play with both feet, indicating a good level of technical skill. Potential: He is a young player with significant potential, and his loan move to Greuther Fürth provided an opportunity for him to develop his game at a higher level. Areas for Improvement: Experience: While he is physically gifted, his experience at the highest level is still developing, as he is a young player in a competitive environment. Tactical Understanding: He will need to continue developing his tactical understanding and decision-making on the field. Intends to spend all summer on football manager even though they were too lazy to produce one for this year. Expects to cook in the championship
  15. Honestly with the youtube highlights we need actual honest titles Louie Barry 2025 - Aston Villa squad filler - Has been pretty shit for hull but we are trying to get rid of him so the intern cut this video to make him look mustard
  16. Just an additionaly comment, my mate is a Rheims fan (he went to cup final last weekend v PSG) and he said Will Still is absolutley awesome. Make of that what you will 😁
  17. Apologies if posted but watched a good youtube on our squad and was talking about Dan Fellows from WBA as winger perfect for Still. Then found a link at least at beginning of this month. https://www.westbromnews.co.uk/2025/05/04/tom-fellows-exit-10m-southampton-transfer-claim-emerges-after-west-brom-win/ A winger that can cross with both feet, score, fast and works hard for 10m 4 goals and 14 assists this season.
  18. It does tie in with him a few weeks back talking about he had heard we are up for sale, trying to create a narrative maybe who knows. Anyway I look forward to our first forum members from there, maybe MBSSaint, RiyadhSaint, Turkisasaint etc etc.
  19. Can someone fact check this please, only just catching up on the thread, thank you
  20. Interesting shout, never heard of him as too busy checking the zambian 2nd division but based on youtube highlights looks like a good project for intially 3rd/4th CB.
  21. I've adopted the rule that 20% of this forum will moan no matter what happens.
  22. Honestly just google vision 2030 and read about what the saudi's are trying to do to modernise their country and have moderate islam etc, its pretty interesting. Its not clear with this info if this would be a private purchase for Turki or a state one, assume private as it wouldnt align with their Newcastle investment if we got promoted, but he probably would get away with it having a lesser club as his own in the premier league.
  23. a master at work
  24. I agree except for the small issue of Sullemana unable to score hardly any goals unlike Balogun so would have to adjust our expectations of his output. He has a career goal rate of 24 goals in 165 games (14%) and has only scored more than 5 goals in a season once in his career (danish 9 goals) He scored 0 goals in the championship (3 assists) even though he played 1000 mins and scored 3 goals in premier league this season (2 assists). While I could see Still being enticed by the snake hips, pace etc unless he can have a shooting boot transplant I see him being more of a chaos player (player whose movement brings opposition out of shape creating space for others) rather than executioner. question is does still want that and we get some actual goal threat in midfield and other side etc.
