We have a potential winner - Kapital Football DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR KFG HAS EXECUTED AN EXCLUSIVE LETTER TO ACQUIRE 80% OF AN UNNAMED PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB WITH THE OPTION TO ACQUIRE THE REMAINING 20. Cunningly they stop you copying and pasting from the article so its going to be screen shots
  2. interesting, lots of investors at the mo looking for cheap deals
  3. Ok did some digging and checked for possible US investors who have been looking at or shown interest in UK clubs or european clubs recently. So @NewYorkSaint can you say if either of the below maybe involved Henry Mauriss Bull Horn Holdings - Rob Striar or Chris Calise FYI for all - Mission statement from Bull Horn very interesting & they filed for an IPO for 75mil a few days ago. "We are a newly organized blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. We have not selected any business combination target. While our efforts to identify a prospective target business will not necessarily be limited to a particular industry, sector or region, we intend to capitalize on the expertise of our management team in the sports (including sports franchises or assets related to sports franchises, and sports technology), entertainment and brands sectors. We intend to focus on leading sports, entertainment and brand companies that have potential for brand and commercial growth. Our objective is to generate attractive returns and create value for our shareholders by applying our strategy of identifying opportunities and capitalizing on the experience of our management team to acquire and manage a business that can benefit from our management team’s global experience with teams, leagues, brands and investments."
  4. Checked the AZ forum and leeds link isn't even discussed. I've come to the conclusion that most of these journo's do exactly what we do, have a scout around europe to see whose possible and could fit into what teams.
  5. Fortunately not, @stevegrant would be penniless.
  6. Not sure have you ever been wanked off in a thai massage parlour in florida ever been a question.
  7. hahahaahaahaa i thought that
  8. Am assuming Ralph takes the input from Andrew Sparkes our GK coach about who is the better keeper or I wonder if he overrules who he wants etc.
  9. Yeah understand but for me content is great as I also read NFL, all interesting football stories, MMA, Boxing etc
  10. hahahahahaha no it actually has very good articles on there and is worth the like 25 quid i've paid for the next year, insightful and not the rubbish you get for free.
  11. Not much we already didnt talk about on here
  12. Arthur Blank I reckon Own Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Utd (MLS) and as linked to Newcaste earlier https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/who-arthur-blank-american-billionaire-15503318
  13. Ings was the highest non penalty goalscorer in the country last year so not sure comparing second season player to him is quite fair at least he is hitting the target, I would suggest long normally doesnt (just to add Ings did miss that great chance at palace as well so he is also fallible) I think we all need some perspective with our players, I want every player we have to be successful but we have to have a sense of realism. Imagine if the 15mil for Che was infact: - 40mil Joelinton - 2 goals - Newcastle - 30mil Benteke - 2 goals - Palace - 20mil Solanke - 3 goals - Bournemouth
  14. Just between Adams/Long and Obafemi as stikers they scored 9 last season in a team that was losing until end Nov, so you dont expect them to score more ? If you also included Djnepo/Adams and Redmond they scored 11 goals. Our problem wont be offensive, it will be pressing the ball in a compact area due to our high line
  15. Hahahahaha I was wondering when someone would bring up his fashion gear. Didnt hurt the dude on the left with his hatrick, absolute numpties though, Bellerin has a lot to answer for influencing these fools
  16. It hasnt yet (sort of a MLT type player) but he obviously was given more support at Lille cos we bought him didnt we.
  17. Nah loan to buy only, its got to be
  18. Have we ever been rich
  19. To be honest I've only see Davies v us and I'm not sure that is enough data to go one but he looked more positive than Hoj in going forward so dug out a scout report. He's also 5ft 11 so is taller than i remember and apparently his height is one of his strengths and it plays an important role in winning take-ons, interceptions and tackles. To be honest reading just this and how Ralph likes us to play i think he could be another recycled gem a la Bertrand/Romeu vein. .http://outsideoftheboot.com/2017/02/16/scout-report-tom-davies-the-emerging-everton-and-england-starlet/ "So he can be considered as an attacking minded central midfielder with good offensive traits who can defend well.
  20. Had a quick look last night and thought too much effort but now I am working the company can pay for me to reply ;-) Which current or ex Saint would you hire to the following roles within the club, and why? Academy Manager I would put in Wayne Bridge as academy manager - he can talk up the pitfalls of professional live, money, agents, your team mates shagging your girlfriend and use his jungle survival experiences to keep their feet on the ground. Ticket Office Manager Paul Telfer - Great man manager - can chat to our fans in the pubs and bars and has the common man touch needed to deal with customer service. Commercial Manager Easy choice - Barry Venison - bazza is now a real estate mogul in US taking over non performing mortgages so is perfectly placed to understand Gao's money issues and how to work around it. Canteen Gaffer Neil Shipperly - he believes in tasting everything he cooks and will make sure no one else jacks off into the food. Head of Security Ulrich Van Gobbel - no explanation necessary
  21. The Bouf is the most skilful player in our team by far, he could nutmeg a caterpillar. Unfortunately we are using effort and tactics to overcome superior players in the opposition teams - The Bouf is not so great at that. Nice player from the bench in this team, brilliant player in other team where others work for him.
  22. You would of thought it would of been decided by now given everton have brought in Allan, Rod, and Dacoure. Not sure what their squad depth is but I would of thought they would keep the local lad (cheaper) and try and loan out the high paid ones. Edit - just checked their forum and once I got past the 8 pages talking about their dugouts it seems the only source for this is Crook on Talksport whose job it is to create content to discuss.
  23. Yeah I truly dont understand the press route unless they are trying to lower the price via pressure otherwise you have the finances or you dont and the due diligence has been done.
  24. Ok have finally got round to subscribing - will listen to the last one
