Nah just paper talk in the dutch papers about being interested on weds but that could be them pumping up their own tyres. The main insight I got from the PSV forum was he is tall and they dont like the french.
-
Did a check on voetbalzone cos I know they dont pay that well here and last year the estimate average salary for a eredivise player was 291k euro a year with ziyech being the top on 4mil a year or 70k pounds a week. Am guessing PSV would be paying Sangare around 30-40 euro a week max for a DM - plus factor in finances due to covid and no fans in stadiums either I'd guess closer to 30k
-
With regards to Sangare the dutch papers say we thought we had a deal on Weds so someone between blackmore/club or PSV/Sangare is telling porkies. De Telegraaf writes that PSV trumped Southampton at the last minute: the Saints thought they had an agreement on Wednesday,

The footballer motivation is as follows. Become a professional footballer anywhere. Get as much money as possible. When you have lots of money look to try and win things if your club doesn't already.
-
yeah its in the dutch websites and says he is doing a medical today. Can only presume he was never on our list as PSV cannot compete for wages anywhere near us - just agent talk I reckon to put pressure on PSV.

To be honest this sounds like a rehash of the original da grosa story, I assume the exclusive letter is just a period to negotiated/due diligence etc which we sort of already knew. The interesting thing for me was the other 20% being involved. Still not convinced this is the real deal -

Ok did some digging and checked for possible US investors who have been looking at or shown interest in UK clubs or european clubs recently. So @NewYorkSaint can you say if either of the below maybe involved Henry Mauriss Bull Horn Holdings - Rob Striar or Chris Calise FYI for all - Mission statement from Bull Horn very interesting & they filed for an IPO for 75mil a few days ago. "We are a newly organized blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. We have not selected any business combination target. While our efforts to identify a prospective target business will not necessarily be limited to a particular industry, sector or region, we intend to capitalize on the expertise of our management team in the sports (including sports franchises or assets related to sports franchises, and sports technology), entertainment and brands sectors. We intend to focus on leading sports, entertainment and brand companies that have potential for brand and commercial growth. Our objective is to generate attractive returns and create value for our shareholders by applying our strategy of identifying opportunities and capitalizing on the experience of our management team to acquire and manage a business that can benefit from our management team’s global experience with teams, leagues, brands and investments." -
Checked the AZ forum and leeds link isn't even discussed. I've come to the conclusion that most of these journo's do exactly what we do, have a scout around europe to see whose possible and could fit into what teams.
