  1. Imagine having no patience
  2. Seriously who thinks if fun to try and make out your in the know for transfer rumours, it must just be for people with low self esteem trying to get their likes. Anyway i just saw a cloud that looks like a centre back float past - so done deal
  3. when goalkeeping coaches get involved in transfer dealings this happens - 30mil for ramsdale I'm sorry but he is not worth that on his bournemouth form let alone sheff utd. Chelsea paid 22mil for Mendy.
  4. This would be my team to start to try and get a goal in 1st half - moussa up there supporting forwards to try and score some goals. Make subs from 60-70mins to affect the game. Tino unlucky to be on the bench but maybe a game to come on later.
  5. Tino has set the bar for debuts now i reckon - other youngsters will see him come in, perform in training and then start over the established right back. That is all these younger players want as most of them are already on good money.
  6. Id like this It strengthens the wide zones where man u have their quicker players
  7. not great but would he of done any worse than walcott at everton
  8. Sounds like a goer - 2nd left back - lots of potential and will get minutes - i like it.
  9. with our goalkeepers you can polish a turd but its still a turd. Both are terrible and we should get 1 in on loan if need be.
  10. I hear people say he's had a terrible run since Jan 21 over 27 games or whatever it is and is enough to judge him. Those same people are conveniently forgetting the performance before that over the calendar year 2020 cos apparently judging him across 2 seasons is nonsense.
  11. Last season the volume of games led to key injuries to our squad with their back up not good enough. This season we have better squad depth and I would expect to not see the drop off like last season as the quality of the team can be maintained once the final CB is there. For this season we have a tough first 5 games so that will be challenging in itself with any manager. Lets re-assess where we are end Oct to get a better sample size on both the manager and the players.
  12. If this thread is to gain support for Eddie Howe to become our coach then i've also got some magic beans to sell you.
  13. Stepping stone approach
  14. came back to this joke of a thread to see is john terry a bellend as a point of discussion. says it all really, we are game 1 into a season away from home and we have a tough series of games - at least wait until nov
  15. This thread surely is a joke
  16. He isnt afraid to shoot based on yesterday and is alot faster than we thought based on him closing down keane etc.
  17. Agree we could do with a CB enforcer and that Croatian CB fits the part 100%
  18. but lets be real..... who thought we would win there and on the 1st day of the season. Watch us beat man u next week.
  19. I know what your saying but Stephens does that for our team a lot so not sure it helps too much.
  20. Djenepo rated 2nd best player today for us according to whoscored and led the team with 5 successful tackles.
  21. Game 1 - Aug 14th
  22. not read any of the above to not cloud my judgement. - livramento was quality in 1st half seemed to tire and be more conservative in the 2nd - he seems a baller and i like him a lot already. - Thought perraud and djnepo linked up well in the final 3rd, something to build with and neither disgraced themselves. - For the first 2 goals both CBs and goalkeeper should of done better - stephens lost the 1st and i think Salisu thought Mccarthey was coming for the 2nd and left it since it was in the 6yd box- mccarthey was coming and then stopped about 3yds away from the ball - he does not command his area. In fact when i watch him i think he avoids going for balls when he thinks there could be heavy contact with a player - he's pulled out more than a monk in a nunery. Dacoure couldnt of hit that goal 9 times out of 10, JWP got sold and dummy and he hit a lucky strike - such is life. Walcott was a passenger all game Armstrong was great - quick as feck, pressured keane all game and awesome goal. Adams - great assist but then quiet for the rest of the game. JWP/Romeu - weirdly i dont know about them - i dont think they were great, JWP dead balls were a bit arse, Romeu ok lets hope its just being rusty. Think we need a stronger/faster CB to partner Salisu, also the team need to assess how everton farmed the ball out wide to cross for their 2 goals, think they were both from midfield lapses. Not sure what changes v Man U - but we go again
  23. stoked for tino Liked what i saw and think he will be fearless. Pace across the line and no redmond to slow it down.
  24. watching Duje Caleta-Car and he seems to have a bit of pace, strength and a wand of a right foot pinging balls all over the shop. sign me up
