  1. In the olden days (before the late 1990s) the above was only method of written communication. You've never had it so good. Youth is wasted on the young. Etc etc etc......
  2. Really enjoying the podcast.
  3. I agree. I have had cause to email David Luker on more than one occasion and he has always responded promptly. He has always dealt with my problem immediately and satisfactorily. He has even phoned me from his car, whilst stuck in traffic, to respond to an email I had sent 5 minutes previously. That is superb customer service. For the last few seasons our ticket office has had the resources to cope with average attendances of well under 20,000, in the last 2 months they have had to deal with three games of around 30,000 AND a Wembley final of 44,000. Have some patience FFS.
  4. The Desire looks nice (ghey name, like Hero) but surely this will add a tenner to monthly cost like Joe says.
  5. ending
  6. Art of Noise - 'The Seduction of Claude Debussy'.

  10. Have to agree with you there mate. As for hard drive problems with the PS3...... I replaced my 60GB hard drive (after the warranty had expired) with a 320GB WD drive; under £40 from Amazon + postage http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-Scorpio-320GB-Internal/dp/B0011U65F2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266514951&sr=1-1
  11. Unless you hand him and his cronies a brown envelope stuffed with notes. FIFA, IOC etc are all dodgy as f*ck.
  12. I would go back to the Asda store that sold you this poison and raise hell. Don't worry that you don't have the wrapper, you should let the store manager know. There may be a public safety issue here, and other people may be affected. Imagine if a pensioner had been through what you went through. I'm sure the manager will thank you for letting him know, and he may even see fit to 'compensate' you (unofficially and without prejudice).
  13. Sad news for Murts. I hope he recovers and gets to wear the shirt again. However the tone of the OS article leads me to agree with John B. It would be great to have Conno fit again. Whether he starts or is on the bench, he is, in my opinion, the best player in our squad. He is so threatening in the box, and can create chances with ease. Hopefully he will be back for the Walsall and Huddersfield games.
  14. A well reasoned and thought out response. You're going on my 'ignore list' Mr Smith.
  15. Anyone have one? Is it any good? Thanks in advance.

  17. I don't think I can cope with that kind of scrutiny........
  18. Now I'm paranoid.
  19. They're not so bad. I had 19C on my ignore list for a short while, but I found that censoring certain posters detracted from the overall debate. The more I know of 19C, the more I like him. I don't agree with him at times but it would be a dull world if we all agreed. As for GS......... he's made me chuckle over my coffee on a Sunday morning, so he must be alright!
  20. Go on....... do it...... you know you want to.......
  21. Ravi Shankar - 'Transmigration Macabre'. Oh yes!
  22. From the forum FAQ section........ Dealing with Troublesome Users Can I block posts, emails and messages from specific users? If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this: Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, type their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.
  23. An excellent post Jez, however I fear it will be lost on Alpine.
