11 was Jack Boyle. He was ok but kept cutting in. The blond fella must have been Doble.... another good prospect without a doubt, I think he got the second at Totton. Mills looks pretty promising, as does Reeves. The one think I will say about our young gifted players..... they are all very lightweight. It really was noticeable today. They are very skilful, but will get seven bales knocked out of them in L1. Seeing them up against some of Bournemouth's players was comical. We need to balance the younger players with some 'orrible great lumps to back up the flair. If we do that, we will walk L1.

I didn't think Adz was too bad today. He started very brightly and proved he can still beat people and turn on a sixpence. He faded though, probably due to a hangover from niggling injury mentioned above. I for one, would be gutted to see him go.

What a poor performance. Without investment in a good manager and some quality players we are destined for league 2 and the writing will be on the wall by Christmas. I'm sure that this undeniable truth is apparent to our new owner and he is currently dusting off the blankety blank chequebook and pen in readiness. Hopefully we will see the first step by the time we play Cheltenham on Tuesday.
