  1. No to goal celebration music please. I would prefer "Battle without honor or humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei, from the Kill Bill soundtrack. I would post a link but being the technophobe i am, i haven't got a clue how too,can someone enlighten me, cheers.
  2. Rather have a trout than a skate,as i said i have standards.
  3. You would lose more than a pinky, more like all your'e fingers,a fist and quite possibly the whole of your'e forearm
  4. Not the Gosport one's,but i have standards.
  5. Join the club, must be something to do with the fact we come from Gosport, majority of the women from here are trouts.
  6. My sentiments also.
  7. I can see the valid point you are making, thus far i haven't seen anything concrete to state that this company has been created to act as a vehicle for a "takeover" at SFC,as you can see i put "quite possibly" at the end of my original post. But i do not think you can disreguard the fact that it is quite plausible that this was and still is the main reason why these particular individuals grouped together to form the said company. The individuals concerned, for most parts, would play definative roles in their various fields of expertise, thus these could be utilsed, drawn upon if you like, for the benefit of SFC,couple that with someone with substantial financial clout could "quite possibly" be the long term chink of light we so desperately need. I don't believe in coincidences, and i don't think that these people got together to form anything else but a vehicle to asisst in the implementation of a takeover/investment opportunity at SFC. Differing opinions is what makes the debate interesting.
  8. Form as a company so to manouvre themselves into a position to takeover SFC,quite possibly.
  9. Perhaps the person was looking towards another football club, let's say Newcastle for arguments sake, and has been for sometime, that now has not come to fruition for whatever reason, perhaps Shearer turned down the mangerial position and that was the deal breaker coupled with other stumbling blocks. So now he turns his eye to another club,SFC perhaps, not such a initial outlay of funds, not that should really be a concern, plus perhaps the developement of areas and a Yachty connection could be far more an exciting and viable option.....oh and Shearer would be willing to take his first steps into coaching/management;).
  10. Agreed, but i think there is someone else connected to this consortium/company that really has substantial financial clout, and getting this person fully commited and "onboard" has been the stumbling block. But what do i know, wishful thinking perhaps.
  11. I too saw this interview,JP just stated it was not down to him reference takeover/investment and off field matters so he leaves that to others, pretty bog standard reponse to the interviewer doing some digging.IMO. Rumour does seem to be gathering momentum and interest from various parties in the media.
  12. I am a good cook,i should be, i studied to become a chef for 3 years, and worked alongside some great chefs in London.
  13. I blubbed like a good'n at the birth of my little boy. I try to remain composed when the little fella leaves after a weekend visit, but i will admit it is difficult. I was close to shedding a tear when i visited ground zero.
  14. NOTW states today,"Alan Shearer is wanted as boss of Southampton by a middle eastern consortium,if they take over the club. "The group is headed by his former youth coach Dave Merrington". "Shearer has rejected coaching jobs at Blackburn and Newcastle because he felt he was not ready for management" Shame it's only the NOWT,any other paper i might have given it a bit more creedance, but then again, who knows what is round the corner.
  15. One game does not make a season,Derby and Ipswich also lost today both playing at home,I suspect one of those if not both, in and around the play offs come the end of the season. There is a very long road ahead.
  16. Could of been worse, losing at home to Donny.
  17. i'm not as disapointed as i was this time last season, losing to palace 4-1 at home coupled with a shi7e display was truly gutting.
  18. Same old,same old
  19. It hasn't crashed which is a definate improvement, has slowed considerably at times, but at least it's still going.
  20. It sounds as if we are under the cosh somewhat.
