  1. Plymouth will be on the look out for a striker, they are releasing Jermaine Easter, due to personal issues. Actually, i suspect release is not the correct term, they would surely want a fee for him...that counts us out then.
  2. I often recall that one,i believe it was Ashley Cole who got the clearance, I had a great view of it,and truly started to celebrate as it winged it's way towards the net.
  3. Not sure, you decide. Pekhart also scored 19 goals in 20 games for the Spurs academy and 2 goals for the first team in a pre season friendly. If true, maybe worth a punt.
  4. I beat you by 1 minute.
  5. Saints and Plymouth are chasing Spurs' reserve striker Tomas Pekhart. Spurs are keen to loan him out to gain first team experience. Czech Republic under 21 player,19 yrs old. Also i see that Sunderlands Anthony Stokes is being sent out on loan,no club has been linked at present,By Roy Keane. I think it is important that we get someone in fairly sharpish, obviously JP has singled that this is an area for strenthening. Will the squad be complete with one more addition?, dependant of course if we off load the the likes of Skacel, Euell,or they regain their place in the squad.

  7. So we would/should of gone for the cheap option a bit sooner than we have. Still the cheap option whether it was then or now.
  8. If nothing else,he is an optimist.
  9. Lowe took a gamble, the cheap option, which was somewhat forced upon him, it has appeared that we seem to be heading in the right direction, playing style wise,we have not however achieved anything, that will be determined by our league position come the end of the season. Then, and only then will i consider that he has done a good job,but most of my credit will still go to JP,MW,Hockaday and, what now appears to be, a commited playing staff.
  10. I have constantly been impressed by the things he says. Of course it is made easier by the fact we won.
  11. Met Slash from Gun's and Roses at London Zoo the day after i saw them at Wembley. I was still wearing my tour t-shirt,and he and his entourage just started chatting,i was gobsmacked. We spoke for about 15 min,he gave me a ciggy and just chilled whilst admiring the giraffes!
  12. That is damn groovy,i have added to favourites. Cheers.
  13. Great result, sounded as though we played well, looking forward to getting match report from someone who was there. Don't think we will get any of those gobshi7es on hear now. I might take a peak at what the County fans think on one of theirs, and of course, i will be civil
