So Davis signing for us will almost definately signal an exit for one (maybe two) of our other keepers. I can see Poke heading back to Torquay... cant see Forecast getting a new team... Maybe Bart can get a lower Championship team or mid table League 1 team?

Infact what happened was oscar gobern played a neat ball cross field to Thomson who had acres of space on the right wing all game. He darted to the forward and tried to cut the ball back across goal, but the ball hit a sliding defender and rebounded in. Was definately an OG though, Jak Thompsons pass was moving away from the goal before it was turned in

Gota disagree with you im afraid Robbie. Yes we drew against lesser opposition. But the idea of early pre-season friendlies is to get players involved in games, getting match fit. Not going all out for a result. Its about getting players back into the swing of things with a light friendly game against local opposition. The result is irrelevant. If come August the 8th we draw 2-2 by conceding 2 late goals, then il start asking questions... for now, who cares? The lads have had a run out (some teams have only had 2 days of pre-season so far), the fans have seen their club play against an up and coming local team, and in the most part have enjoyed a nice relaxing evening with friends and family watching the team the love.

The number 10 was the same blonde lad that played against Eastleigh and did very well. Was very impressed with Wayne Thomas second half, was always barking out orders to the players, and was very encouraging to the younger lads. Sam argent (i think) at CB in 2nd half looked a little shakey but has a lot of potential.

Jo Tessem was absolutely gash lol. Me and my mates tried to give him some encouragement but his first touch was truly shocking, he passing was abysmal, and the one chance he had on goal (a free header) he completely missed. Bless him, was good to see him in saints colours again

Had a cheeky word with Wayne Thomas today at the game. He said 'Its yellow, kind of like the torquay or mansfield colours, just a plain yellow kit' Assuming it may be off the same design as the plain white england kit perhaps? Yeh so did I, despite the soaring heat i thought it was a really good game. And for the first time in 3 or 4 weeks i was happy with my performance aswell which was nice.
