It has been said that the club needed £500k to see out the season. Does anyone know how this was arrived at? If for the last 3 home matches we averaged 25,000 = 75,000 Less ST holders 9,000? =27,000 Net =48,000 Assume average ticket price of £10 (lots of offers ATM) = £480,000 So problem almost solved? Or did they assume an average crowd of 18,000 in arriving at the £500,000 So an addition 7,000 per match £210,00 Short £290,000 So how was the £500K arrived at?

I was hoping to find people who still lived in the area rather than the only connection is that they sat in the A303 traffic queue near Stonehenge -
Too many consortiums for Mr Fry (and us)?

Why will relegation put off serious investors. On the pitch not much has changed since Christmas? It will take 5 years to become an established premiership team again. -
What else is the club doing to market the game? eg have they sent an e mail out to every name on the database or eveybody who is registered to buy tickets online?
-
Something to look forward to. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11630 and remember if you are 16 and under its only a £1

They should be down at the training ground trying to get the basics right
-
maybe but we dont have to just give in on the pitch. Players should be playing for pride and a few good performances should help them get new contracts at new clubs
-
I am planning to buy one. First time in 3 years. New start, new leadership, many new players

Some good points above. The benefit of owning a football club comes not from its financial success but from more intangibles eg the local community loving the club, 25000 happy fans, your picture in the local newspaper, involvement in the FA structure etc. Its like having a very pretty wife but high maintenance. But Lowe did not understand the economics - he tried to run it like a business when he needed to be succesful in bringing him those rich people. His style was inappropriate. He failed because he failed to understand the football "business" -
if I was selling a football club, factory, cake shop I would want to have an understanding how it works
-
if we were a factory, dont you think he would look at the production line?
-
make the call - how much would be it cost. If AS gets £1m for keeping Newcastle up, £100k for keeping Saints up? So tonight administrator fires Wottte and rings up RK. 9am tomorrow players meet RK for first "kick a*se" session

Could be buy a winning side from somethere else ( or at least the core of a side) I mean if MK Dons (or someone else near the top) dont go up, let buy the core of their team and their manager! We need people who are used to playing together and are winners!
-
far too sensible!
-
I hope it takes less than 20 years to unpick the mess Lowe has left.
-
maybe this season is over but we are not down yet and did win 3 in the row just a few weeks ago. So sometimes we can get it right. I would call in Roy Keane. Kill or cure type solution!
