I would suggest that they consider the "hardcore away support" not a problem hence the 4 aways. Seems an odd number otherwise. Why the flying f**k they just couldn't put them on general sale I don't know. Pathetic but typical of the rozzers. -

Will they though as they will also be bubbled. For me it's not an issue but for others it is. Others still are using it as a rather pathetic excuse. -

And your experience of attempting to recruit high caliber maths and science teachers is what exactly? Hard enough now and it's going to get an awful lot worse. -

I guess, with teaching, it's about balance. God knows is hard enough getting good science and maths graduates as it is as the rewards are so much greater elsewhere and taking away the chance of a decent pension may impact still further. Despite the spin any government may put on it, that's the reality in large swathes of metropolitan England. -

To the 1st point, I reckon most of us understand the need for change but let's see the evidence. In my case I'm being asked to pay 50% more to get 40% back and work many years more for it based on no evidence that my pension fund is in deficit. If it were just 2 of those 3 most would grumble but most likely understand and accept but with all 3 it does feel as if we are being butt fu cked for bailing out the banks. As for the 2nd point, I think everyone accepts that. Modify for the existing, change for the new. -

The right wingers should ask themselves this, why is it that the government has refused to audit the pension schemes despite being requested to do so? The teachers and LGPS are in very good health due to being managed correctly so it clearly can't be about them being in deficit. -

And I've also dropped my 3 kids off at school and their teachers also had no hassle. Couldn't be that the thick Daily Mail brigade are talking bollloxs again? -

Strange how my teacher wife is in today then, no hassle at all, and I'm also not on strike and guess what, no hassle at all. Of course, you could be talking out of you thick @rse as usual. -
Mine has been traced, both side, as far back as 1615 with some jock and, I'm pleased to say, Dutch.

Near where I work they spent oddles of dosh building sheltered housing for vulnerable adults with plenty of support workers. The logic being that it saved, on average £20k per adult per annum not having them in "homes". The support workers were all made redundant and over 50% of the adults are now back in full time care and flats stand empty. Huge net loss to the tax payer and it's this sort of idiocy that does the most damage. Cull the non-jobs, I'm all for it and we could still lose 20% of my non teaching staff no problem, but lets think things through and the depth and speed of the cuts has meant that the thinking hasn't been done. I'll enjoy working from home tomorrow, plenty of paperwork, that I try to avoid, will finally get done. -
I hate having to miss midweek games and I was convinced we'd lose this tonight. A win his top notch and I can now look forward to Donny.

So they were either loaned £10.5mill which they will have to repay pronto to the administrator or were bankrolled to that tune meaning they are insolvent. Happy days.
