  1. If I lived local then the chances are I'd go, but I don't so I won't. * Damn, you beat me.
  2. Because there aren't plenty of threads where we've all said the 2nd half performance was cr@p. Nope, none at all, you're the very 1st person to point it out, 3 days after the game.
  3. Exactly. Took me a nano second to decide not to spend £45 on petrol driving down to watch R1 of the fizzy pop cup against a team that I have no feelings at all for. I'm have walked down barefoot if it had been pompey.
  4. So do I but after what I've learnt over the last couple of days, from sources I trust, I'm not sure he has a future at SFC.
  5. Maybe in LaLa land but never in the real world.
  6. Am I alone in not giving a fat rats arse about tonights game?
  7. Having just revisited this thread I see you are still spitting your dummy out. Didn't your parents pay you enough attention as a child? Man up FFS.
  8. He want to shout "look at me"?
  9. Up until the weekend I would have agreed but now I really don't think he will be. During the 2nd half on Saturday I said to another poster that another couple of performances like that and AP will be gone as NC won't tolerate it. Things I've subsequently been told by people I trust has only gone to reinforce that view. It's so annoying as I really want AP to be our manager.
  10. I think St George may have just found a new friend.
  11. But it is not "we" who will be making the decision and that may well be the problem.
  12. Speculation up here is that Randy Learner has told him that if a big offer comes in for Ashley Young he will be sold and that MON decided that the ambition at the club had max'd out and it was time to go. Learner was in the UK at the weekend by all accounts.
  13. We shall see in the fullness of time but I don't expect AP to be our manager at the end of this season, or even the year. It will be a mistake but hey ho.
  14. Something just didn't seem right on Saturday. Couldn't put my finger on it but the vibe was wrong and my gut instinct is that Pardew, wrongly IMHO, is on his way out sooner rather than later. If he does go then O'Driscoll at Donny Rovers would be my choice.
  15. Taking on the national media as a L1 club is stupid beyond belief.
  16. As some of you will know I have a friend who works in a senior (non playing staff) position at Wolves. They made enquiries about KPB and I've just seen that pompey wanted the entire transfer fee in one go and a 40% sell on clause in addition to wolves paying all the agents fees for both sides. Apparently pompey wanting the fee upfront caused much laughter as did their "demands".
  17. Shock horror, our resident neo-nazi NF supporter starts an anti-NC thread.
  18. I agree. I've never had him pegged as a holding midfielder. That said, having him play a deeper role alongside a hilding midfielder may give him an opportunity to pick a pass and springboard attacks.
  19. 100% agree.
  20. He's been anti-Pardew since the day he arrived so yesterday was no more than grist to his mill.
  21. But you've still not answered the question, and I am being devil's advocate, how do we, the supporters, show our displeasure at the teams/players/managers performance or are we expected to just dumbly accept everything?
  22. How do you suggest that fans voice their displeasure at the effort of players or manager? I'm not keen on booing myself but understand why people do and who am I, or you, to judge them?
  23. Please, dry your eyes Mr Uber Fan. People are free to support the club/ boo the players as they see fit. I appreciate that it may be a hard concept for you to grasp as you're obviously not to sharp and have been clearly brain washed to be the Sky version of a happy clappy football fan. If you ever manage to throw off the restrictive mental shackles you may be capable of being a man an accepting others, but I somehow doubt it.
  24. Your dummy is on the floor just outside your pram.
  25. I'd be more than happy with that scenario. I thought we were brutally exposed at times before we really started chasing. The two central midfielders were going AWOL and it left the two CBs vunerable. 4-4-2 just doesn't work IMHO.
