We are in the EU and like it or not we will be staying in the EU. That war was settled in the early 1990s when Major defeat Bill Cash and others. However, personally, I'd like a simple yes/no referendum on whether we should remain in the EU.

This is an issue I see often in my work. Generational benefit claimants. I wouldn't describe them as living in the lap of luxury through.

It's because it would cost them ££. They get the headlines and plaudits when they announce it and then make things so complex that people don't claim it.

It's the changing of those rules that appear to be the issue.

It is true that far too many have fallen into a culture of benefit dependency, I see it every day. However, you cannot punish the child for the sins of the parents. It's the finding the middle ground that is the most perplexing.

They have to find the £14m for Baloo and then the rest as a CVA, say 30% of £90mill but need the funds (player sales and parachute payments) to do that. However, the footballing debts (wages and bonuses owed, fees owed and agents fees) have to be paid in full.

Don't forget, they still have to pay their footballing debts in full, regardless of the CVA.

My son his doing French in Y4 and his Italian is also better than mine.

My 4 yo is being taught how to sign, which I think is a genius idea.

They are taught the national curriculum in English with extra English booster lessons. Kids under 9 soak up other languages like a sponge. It's the same all over the country. My neighbours kids 9 & 6, speak English like the locals and have only had a normal education. Where I teach and where my wife teaches lessons are only delivered in English and we have a variety of nationalities from Pole to Thai.

I'm back from the park. I did notice some immigrant types so I went back and checked and thankfully all of the swans were still there. I also did some tutting to reinforce my point.
