  1. Up until September I'd driven Saabs for the last decade. Well built, sturdy, safe and reliable. It would be a great pity to see them go.
  2. It's everything else that's fooked. Never mind, at least you're giving us plenty to laugh about.
  3. Some decent lefties and neo-fascist righties will never, ever get it so they cancel each other out.
  4. But if you knew how the business model worked then you'd know if I'm paying £2 then some other poor sap will end up spending £200+. Ryanair make £££ because they are canny. I save £££ because so am I. We all choose our careers/jobs and know what we are accepting when we say yes. If we don't like it, we move on. That applies for BA staff, Ryanair staff, you and I.
  5. That's me off the hook then as I'm got BA flights booked for the Caribbean in 2010.
  6. It's the one thing that has really baffled me about this BA strike thing, they just don't seem to get it. There are so many other airlines that now do it better and cheaper and most of us that fly scheduled are savvy enough to know this and how to access those better services.
  7. No, must of us do if you actually read the thread.
  8. He's a tory therefore doesn't give a fat rat's arse about the workers.
  9. Stalingrad, Berlin or Normandy by Beevor. All of them works of genius.
  10. 10 x tory lounge members bemoaning the cost of changing the lightbulb, complaining that it happened under Labour and blaming the unions.
  11. I heard that as well. As soon as the seller said no they upped to offer to £100.
  12. The very attitude that I adopt with my staff. It doesn't have to be "them" and "us", just "we"
  13. We'd all like to be back in the top flight for obvious reasons but it doesn't stop many of us, or at least those of us that go, from enjoying an entertaining Saints side scoring lots of goals at a price that is affordable to everyone. I'll give it time before the thickies work it out for themselves.
  14. As opposed to never go like you?
  15. Me too. With a few exceptions, Leeds tomorrow being one, I've been paying about £18 a ticket away from home and my nipper has been from £0 - £8 for 80% of them. I could afford, but wouldn't wish to spend ££££ watching away games in the EPL. I actually having the greatest time watching Saints!
  16. When the weather is as bitter as it is up here today you just cannot beat a fire roaring away in the hearth. :smt008 If it's going to be this cold in Leeds tomorrow I'll need to stand in front of one for a hour to thaw out when I get back.
  17. Don't confuse the resident neo-fascists.
  18. That would seem fair. BA are hardly whiter than white and the Union made a huge mistake and it would appear they are both determined to fight to the end. Unfortunately the end will the the end of the airline.
  19. Come on Johnny, despite the rights or wrongs of the actions, which we all agreed were wrong, most people will fight to protect what they have, if it is better than is on offer elsewhere. That said, the BA staff need to understand that change, in this case, is necessary.
  20. He can't. I'm just thankful SG and his mates stopped Obama becoming the American President, what with them proving he was a commie born outside of the USofA.
  21. I'm glad you recognise your symptoms. The 1st step to recovery is the hardest.
  22. If the government decided to take away your submariners pay you'd just accept that and be happy? Thought not.
  23. I trust St George totally ever since he proved the the President of the USofA was a commie who couldn't take the job due to not being born in America.
  24. Better be about in October as I've flights booked to Antigua!
