  1. I think there should be clear demarcation from those claiming benefits who are activity seeking work and those who are benefit reliant spongers. Those long term, work shy, lazy f***ers should have their benefits cut by 10% for each and every month they are claiming, once beyond a certain calender threshold. Those actively seeking work should be supported.
  2. The Finchley ***** made it quite clear that the Tories don't believe that there is anything called society.
  3. In principle I agree as I see far too much of the benefit society for my liking. That said, the system needs to be streamlined so work does pay. Far too many people think they lose everything as soon as they sign off.
  4. Like Clarke and Cable, he has the "ordinary" about him.
  5. I've nothing against their educational background, having been to a good uni' myself, it's just that smarmy Oxbridge career politician look, from all parties, that I dislike. The Milibands are the perfect example. Vince Cable is a colossus compared to the weak government front bench and even weaker opposition front bench.
  6. The only MP's worth listening to, IMHO, are Vince Cable and Ken Clarke. There are too many Oxbridge career politicans.
  7. Communism & fascism are ends of the same circle. I detest the extreame right of the tory party as well as the extreame left of New Labour. I'm centre left and whilst I'll always detest the tory party I accept the logic of many of their centre right policies.
  8. I buy fair trade wherever possible. All Co-op own brand tea is fair trade. I also bank with them due to their fair trade policies.
  9. I used to buy the FE at the papershop by the Bitterne Brewery after getting the number 14 hope from the game as a nipper. It they hadn't arrived I used to wait until the van came. There was always people waiting and blokes sticking their heads out of the pub to see if it had arrived. When I lived and worked overseas my mum used to buy it and post it out every week during the season, along with all the Saints clipping out of the DE.
  10. Hardly seems possible that it was a 1/4 of a century ago.
  11. We watched it on Croatian TV in our local.
  12. And there's me, thinking my views had mellowed with age. Previously I would have just had them lined up and shot.
  13.
  14. Nope, they are low, but just not as low.
  15. Far right tory scum shouldn't be allowed to breed and pollute the minds of future generations. Thankfully, as most are unlikely to get the chance to breed nature is taking care of it. The only thing lower than a skate is a far right tory.
  16. The fact that more people will vote for the final of X-Factor than will vote in the next general election speaks volumes. Politics is now so far removed for "ordinary" people and so many sound bite career politicans profess to speak for them, that vast swathes of our population just won't bother. In addition, with so many disillusioned Labour supporters abstaining the Tories are a shoe in.
  17. How is our pet neo-nazi? Heckled any immigrants today Adolf?
  18. It's dead hard after COD4!
  19. This is HMRC we are on about mush. They are hardly known for their liberal approaches to giving football clubs time. I can imagine that the thought process was/is something like this for most owed dosh: Pompey have no money so lets give them time. Pompey still have no money and I don't want to be seen as the person/company/team to put them into administration so let's work on terms. Ooooo Pompey have got money now. Where is my f***ing money!? For HMRC the last bullet point is the only bullet point.
  20. The issue may well be that those owed money, including HMRC, may want their money paid off in full.
  21. :D:D
  22. Yeah, right. Maybe you should go and watch a game and then revisit that statement.
  23. I bought 4 this AM and I can imagine we will sell out.
  24. I live in South Staffs so I'm up north compared to Aaaampshire. I work in and around Sandwell so I've very familiar with Dudley and having worked in Stoke for 3 years myself I feel your pain. I would suggest the North starts at M6 J14.
  25. I've been playing it today so yes, it's out. £27 in ASDA.
